Join me for another Walmart Spark ride along! Store staff is getting tired of Spark driver behavior, and quite frankly, so am I! Lots of drama over the weekend.

Regarding express shopping speed, many Spark shoppers in my market take their time shopping orders, they stop to chat with other Spark shoppers, and Walmart workers, then chat with others before leaving the stores, or in the parking lots Then they sit in their vehicles for long periods of time before leaving Others are crews working out of a single vehicle, so they're waiting on another crew member, or they receive another shopping, or curbside offer they believe they can complete before cancellation Yesterday a crew of 2, and their helper had completed a shopping offer, then they received another, so they waited for the other to shop their offer before leaving The delivery time window before order cancellation is too long in my opinion, especially now that we have temperatures in the 80s where things like ice cream melt quickly

I absolutely agree! Now our ODP employees are waiting on us to start our trip before they leave because their numbers are messed up based on our delivery stats as drivers, or so I'm told. So if you don't start your trip because you're delivering 2 other sparks out of the same car, the store staff gets in trouble. Funny that they can track that stuff but they don't hold drivers accountable.

We have a saying at IC: Mind your own business and do your job! Bitching about what other people do is just being a whiney malcontent. If foreigners are getting more shops than us maybe it's because they're smarter and have a better work ethic than us. These jobs aren't meant to be your whole income stream. I have a regular job and do IC as a side hustle because I'm not unrealistic. Keep your head low, stay out of other people's business and be the best you can be. It's a competition and it's dirty but so what!

First, thanks for watching. These people haven't been at the store in over a week so obviously they were shady as hell.

I don't know why Walmart doesn't terminate their order, they cancel other people's order. So why they can't block these people from getting Walmart Sparks order , who are not supposed to be working and taking orders to customers' homes and businesses?! I forgot, they like people who do cheap labors; $1.00 - $5.00 an hour cheap labors.

You answered your own question
@firststatedelivery3 ай бұрын
Exactly. Walmart keeps these folks around because they're dependable for the cheap labor.

Yall are some nosey people if you recognize other drivers at your store. I don't pay attention to other drivers nor do I associate with other drivers. I see no benefit in mingling with other drivers in the parking lots.
@firststatedelivery3 ай бұрын
Yes. We are nosy when we spend 6-8 hours a day at a location. Things get noticed because they happen right in front of us. We're not looking for it, it finds us because the people running schemes or pushing limits do it in the wide open.

How big is the competitive advantage they gain over you by being closer to the store? If it's not very significant I would just ignore it. Otherwise you're likely to just piss off the store management and be labeled a complainer. If you were a customer complaining about them parking there they would care. But as a vendor, I guarantee they don't care what you have to say about it. It's their parking lot and they can police it however they want, and I'm sure they don't appreciate a vendor annoying them. Please don't take this as a criticism, I'm must giving you advice. Unless the juice is worth the squeeze, just let it go.

The biggest advantage is proximity, IMO. My wife can be parked one spot closer to the store than I am, and she'll get offers before I do. Vice versa, too. They're not always good, but whoever is closer gets pinged first.

@@firststatedelivery If it’s costing you significant money and opportunity to make money then absolutely make an issue of it. Either you all can park there, which would be chaos, or no one should.

Yesterday some Spark drivers were parked illegally in the fire lane near the West entrance by where they have barbecue grills, and other outdoor displays, and others parked in the pickup spots while shopping This store has private security that actively patrol in SUVs from opening to closing, yet they no longer enforce parking violations, and management doesn't seem to care This store also allows customers to bring dogs, cats and even ferrets into the store haha I'm waiting for the day when the Amish bring their horses in the parking lots into the store
@firststatedelivery3 ай бұрын
That would be hilarious! I can't wait for the day that horses shop for groceries!!

Corporations are so worried that someone makes a stink because they didn’t let their emotional support squirrel in the store that people can just bring almost anything or animal in that they want at this point.

We’re here for the ranting. Jim airing out his pet peeves are what makes this channel good. Plus, the socializing during “work” makes the whole customer experience slower and worse and drives people away from using the service which affects the opportunities to make money for the sparkers.
