This was less than three months before I was born (in June). I became a Christian fourteen years later at Mission England. Now aged 54, a Christian of long-standing!

Amazing seeing this. My friend Tony Treen was Vicar of this church about a decade or so after this was filmed. He died in service there. Rest in peace Tony.

Wonder why they filmed it. It must have been unheard of to have a camera in a church fifty years ago, unless it was a special occasion, like the Royal Family.

It was filmed by BBC television (BBC Midlands) for their 'Family Communion' programme at Easter.

It is both. This High and Dry Anglican Communion, believe it or not, is what the sung New Order of Mass was once supposed to look like.
