Life was so unfair for Elizabeth, a bright young beautiful girl that deserved all the love and happiness. Yet her life was filled with loneliness and pain, except the brief moment at the docks, where she would dance to the music. She was so free and happy. But the happiness was so short and the tragedies were yet to come...

What a voice... I was so heartbroken when I heard that Ms. Draper was giving up acting to go to law school and become a lawyer. "What a voice to lose!" I thought to myself. Then I learned that she was considering a return to full-time acting, in part due to the positive response to her work in Bioshock. Now, I just can't wait to see what's next for her and her career. With a voice like this, I have a feeling hers will be one to watch.

@EldritchAugur10 жыл бұрын
It's sad but Booker's last scene is him comforting Elizabeth and then showing her where to go. But then he disappears and leaves Elizabeth alone. This is what happened at the end of the main game. Elizabeth had to drown him, her true father, her only friend. And she feels the effects of it throughout BAS. Elizabeth did love Booker but not in that way, she loved him as a friend and wanted him to be her father but that couldn't be. I would have loved to see another scene with Booker but since he is just part of her subconscious it makes sense that he leaves her alone, because that's how she feels.
@dmli102310 жыл бұрын
That is something that have disturbed me from truly loving the story. I wish it went a different direction and have moments that both Liz and Booker expressing their parent-child feelings.
@EldritchAugur10 жыл бұрын
***** They never really felt like that though, Elizabeth never knew Booker as a father, Booker however. I think that despite his memory reconstruction, he still felt of her as a daughter from time to time. When he drowns Comstock I think the father in him came out. Either way their relationship while limited felt extremely natural and real.
@dmli102310 жыл бұрын
The story could've gone a much better direction where Liz pursuing something truly groundbreaking. While she does so, comes to realization that what is more important at same time it doesn't stray away much from the main story ... Anyways, that's just something I wish ... and reason that I felt unsatisfied, lacking, and depressing with the episodes. However, as what it is, the relationship did feel natural and real.
@EldritchAugur10 жыл бұрын
***** I loved the episodes, Booker's death ruined Elizabeth, she became bitter and cold after it. Her revenge against Comstock was over the line, when she kills Comstock, she orphans Sally and leaves her there to be exploited and be robbed of a childhood. That's exactly what Comstock did to her. Episode 2's ending is incredibly emotional, by giving Atlas the Ace, it will lead to Sally's eventual rescue and will give Sally what Elizabeth always wanted, Sally will have a Father, she will have a childhood, she will grow up to be the woman she wants to be. Elizabeth never had that chance. And there is lots of Booker and Elizabeth scenes like when Elizabeth says that he was her only friend and she misses him on the elevator. And Booker's final scene in the game when he leads Elizabeth to the Ace. It was a really sad scene when he leaves because Elizabeth needs him there. Plus since Booker is in her subconscious it's nice that he's there because the idea of him being there is comforting to her. She really did love him, she just never openly admits it.

I sing this song to my 7 month old daughter literally every day, and there ISN’T A SINGLE TIME that I can do it without losing my shit and almost crying. I know/hope my girl is going to grow up and do amazing things when she’s grown like seeing the pyramids along the Nile, etc etc. I also hope that she remembers her old dad is home feeling lonesome without her. Edit: I know the song is sort of supposed to be from a person to his/her lover. But as a parent, it seems so much more visceral and heart wrenching to think of it as being sung to your child.

Jack is special, because he is the incarnation of Booker that gets it right. The whole story of the entire series revolves around Booker's redemption with Elizabeth. Jack IS Booker, thats why Elizabeth chose to return to Rapture and save Sally. It's because only there can they be together.

jsphwst Because Booker is also Comstock and Comstock is the equivalent of Andrew Ryan as the creator of Rapture, that would mean that Jack is Booker, Comstock, and Andrew Ryan. I think I have a headache now.
@princeofdarkness47119 жыл бұрын
Nicola Brio I don't think it's that complicated. It's all about introduction and symbolism. When we visit Rapture, we thought Jack is a random everyman character, an average everyday untrained smuck who just came across Rapture to prove the will of *one man* against the will of *Gods and kings*. Thus the emphasis and symbolism of *Objectivist* Rapture. "no Gods or Kings, only man" While our first appsumption of Booker's is *completely opposite*. We thought Booker is a *badass* mercenary agent and *anti-hero* War veteran! A true American soldier doing what's necessary under God! Saving the damsel in distress like a pure American tale! Thus the emphasis and symbolism of *American Exceptionalist* Columbia. "Duty, Faith, and Fatherland" ...but all of that changed when *PLOT TWISTS* come in to play in both of Jack's and Booker's stories. Jack was no average random man fightng tyrants, but a science experiment created as a slave by the main antagonist that want to place himself as a king and a God. Booker was no awesome military anti-hero thats going to save the damsel in distress, but the main villain himself who caused everyone's suffering and torment to begin with. Bioshock in a way said this to people ..... "Fuck your ideals, philosophy, and childish beliefs about the world, we did this so you folks can have a freaking *REALITY CHECK* so you can focus on your own securities for once instead of blaming them on other innocent people, it's your chance to grow up" And boy... it's a freaking reality check people *NEEDED*
