I have to agreed! This video shows that the pedal can do a really nice 80´s kind of clean chorus. The other videos like you mentioned just seem to go all crazy on the rate knob and not showing the real true potential of the beautifulness of a slow chorus tone. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, @NobesMusic I have to agree with the other commenters. Ever since the Julia V.2 came out, there aren’t any real demos of it. There are plenty for the Version 1, but you knocked it out of the park for the Version 2! Thank you for taking the time to really demo this pedal and edit it really well visually and audibly! Subbing for sure.

That is such a sick pedal! and yea man the chorus is killer, the ability to blend your dry signal and chorus effect makes all the difference. And you may not really dig the vibrato sound, but if you ever get the pedal, blend in the vibrato slightly. I think it will inspire some more great guitar playing!

Javier Munoz hey! No worries, the hum has nothing to do with the pedal. It is a ground issue with my apartment, but I also play out of a Roland JC22 which is notorious for this hum. The Julia is super clean!

Hey! The Julia V2 does not have any noise issues, it was a combination of the ground noise picked up by my guitar and the lights used for visuals! Currently working out ways to improve my set up!

Nobes Music Thx Nobes Music for the reply. I was tossing up between the Julia and the Boss CE2 Waza. Your playing and demo swung me to the Julia. Any tips on dialing in - settings to get the chimey sounding CE2 sound as a starting point ? 🙏 🎸🤙

@@paulm6341 Paul! So sorry man I just saw this. That is so encouraging to hear how this demo helped you make the decision. I actually haven't played through the Boss CE2, so I am not the best person to ask, but I would say experiment with the dry to chorus spectrum and see if you are able to pull out clean guitar signal chime in with the chorus sound. One of the many perks of this pedal!

Hey! Thanks so much. I am doing well. Hope you are too! And yea it’s definitely something to think about. The M1 does a lot with all of the different modulation possibilities, but there’s something about the dry and lag knob on the Julia and the Julianna that the M1 doesn’t do. But the M1 also has that tri-chorus algorithm which I think is absolutely stunning! And the Julia or Julianna can’t do that either. It goes down to how much you like chorus I guess. If you value other modulation sounds including chorus in one box, it’s the M1. But if you are solely looking for chorus or a chorus fanatic, than definitely go for the Julia or Julianna! I have the M1 on my big studio board because I need it to do as much as possible, and than have the Julianna on my travel board!

My only significant complaint about this pedal is that the speed indicator LED never shuts off unless you kill the power.

Yea if you’re not a fan of the lights on the board like that, I can imagine that could be a nuisance. But I personally love that fact that even in the dark I have an idea of what the rate is set at before I turn the pedal on 👌🏽
