I got my wife the 2023 cx5 Basic and it's running great She was thinking about the Toyota S UV or the Honda but nope Mazda cx5 is the best way to Go now I'm thinking about a 2025 Mazda Cx5 Now that's Going to be mine

I have a 2019 CX-5 and I love it! Its time to upgrade and I am considering either a Rav 4, Rogue, CX-5. That cvt transmission has me worried. I had 2 Altimas in the past, both with transmission issues…🤯 I think I should stay loyal to MAZDA 🙌🏼

Also, you conpare the absolute top trim of mazda against a bottom-mid trim on the nissan, oranges and rocket ships. Im a long term fan of mazda (onto my 3rd mazda), but leaning nissan rogue for my next vehicle..

I am thinking on getting the Nissan Rogue but have considered the Mazda CX5 for years. I currently have a 2018 Hyundai Tucson Limited and before this I had a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. I’m excited to venture out into another brand… have done a lot of research on the Bronco Sport & Edge, Trail Blazer&Blazer, Crosstrek&Outback etc etc but I feel like the 2 at the top of my list right now are the Rogue and the CX5(also CX50) My wife and I are moving from Minnesota to Michigan next year(& then Nevada from there) so we are looking for a good fuel efficient compact to midsized suv.

@@wuhsabiExactly! I agree with every word of yours. I got a 2023 Rogue SL 2 weeks back and I'm really happy with my choice. The SL feels so premium with a bigger screen, leather seats, wireless carplay, etc. And driving the Rogue is so fun. It feels like a big SUV.

@@wuhsabi I did. TBH the drive was okay with Mazda as well, but you don't feel the sportyness that you feel with the Rogue. Also there are a few things I didn't like about CX5. Firstly, the interior.. It felt so outdated. I don't like their infotainment system with the rotatory dial, that's just tacky for me. Secondly the seats were hard as compared to Rogue. Thirdly, CX5 overall looks an okay-ish car, it doesn't feel like a premium SUV. There's no full moonroof, and the front headlights just doesn't work for me. For me, CX50 is a better SUV than CX5 because it has a rugged SUV look.

Performance and leather quality mazda wins, but if you need a larger cabin, functional family orientated interior get the nissan.

The base trim S comes with a 2.5 litre non Turbo 4 cylinder engine which makes 181hp. All the above trims SV, SL, Platinum comes with a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder turbo engine which makes 201hp.
