In my opinion Disney is really missing the mark not streaming a lot of their best classic content. Movies like Merlin Jones should not have to be rented online to watch thru them.

Ironically, Paul Frees (the voice of Professor Ludwig Von Drake, as well as the Ghost Host of the Haunted Mansion) narrated the special "Mars and Beyond" (from which the segment of possible life on Mars is from).

@33:05 - Heh. The airplane passenger looks suspiciously like a "certain chairman" of a film studio circa 1930s! Yep. Caricature of Walt Disney! LOL I think the animators were testing to see if the Boss was paying attention! Sometimes, the animators put themselves into the animated shorts. Ward Kimball and Freddie Moore voiced caricatures of themselves in the 1941 Mickey Mouse short, "The Nifty Nineties."

I have always found it odd that they didn't use Von Drake's voice-over on the sequence Mars and Beyond sequence at the beginning Since this is a Von Drake episode it makes that sequence feel out of place compared to the rest of the episode. It could have been a direct sequel to how Inside Outer Space ended if they had done that to make Von Drake realize how wrong he was on no life on Mars he's constant denial as the aliens kidnap him. I know Paul Fress was in the Mars and Beyond episode as narrator but I still think he could have made him rerecord his lines in Von Drakes's voice.

Well he is from Vienna Austria. But Mr.Schwarzenegger does not provide his voice here. Instead Paul Frees provided the voice of Professor Von Drake. (May he rest in peace). Since 1987 however, Ludwig Von Drake has been voiced by Corey Burton who continues to voice the character to this very day 36 years later.
