Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary Re-dedication Ceremony

This brings back so many memories of working at the Magic Kingdom during this celebration, especially on opening day, Oct 1st/1996. The music, the parade, the kids, the fireworks and even the RAIN! Being in character and interacting with the guests was so much fun. Miss those days.

@ Yes, I remember them flying over the park through the clouds and rain during the fireworks display. I even remember the very spot I was standing, in front of Walt Disneys statue watching them passing over. After that the sun came back out.

I remember seeing this on Walt Disney World Inside Out when they did the Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary Kickoff Special on The Disney Channel back when The Disney Channel was more organized and variety and quality of the programming was more reflective of the Disney Name . Yes , they showed chunks of the rededication but they never showed the whole rededication uncut and unedited like this so thank you for sharing this video on here because I have been waiting to see the whole thing for a long time . - Dwight

its utterly embarassing that all their anniversary celebrations prior to their 50th were so big and grand and memorable meanwhile the 50th was just 4 characters on stage ready to say Hi and then its over. No dedication to walt disney or roy disney, no special parades or street celebrations, no refurbishments or updates to the attractions that opened, nothing that celebrates the people. Everything was IP and just saying hello. That was it. Honestly disrespectful and I expected so much from disney but ig not. see yall in 10 years for the 60th.
