I love reading Walt Whitman's verses in the springtime! I thought that you may grow to enjoy one of America's greatest poets as well.

MS TERRY I LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing. Do remember when I ask what your spiritual believes are? Do you mind to share with me? Not all. Just a tiny itty piece.

Win Laychock I am a Catholic Christian who meditates, prays, recited the rosary and who believes in treating others with respect and dignity. I love the teachings of Gandhi, when it comes to non violence and the dignity of women, The Dalai Lama's teachings on peace and constructive engagement with those whose ideas differ from our own. I love the Holy Scriptures and the compete works of Shakespeare. In fact, if stranded on a dessert isle, I would want those two books and a fishing pole, lol! When I was younger and searching out who God Is, I read Thoreau, Emerson and the universalists/transcendentalists. My spiritual journey goes on with a personal certainty of deep Christian faith and purpose to serve God and others within the small construct of my life.

poetryreincarnations Thank you for your reply! He's great. I listened to several other people reading Whitman, and he is the only one I like :) And especially this recording is so simple and clear.
