Davis' baseline jumper was automatically going in! He was a great mid-range shooter, but his hot spot was something on another level.

I agree Dave, his jumper was a force to be reckon with on a nightly basis!

I always thought that Alex English and Walter Davis were some of the smoothest players of the late 70's and 80's. Yes, the Greyhound should be inducted in the Hall.

Best mid range shooter i ever seen in my life...he didn't miss many and not to mention???....most of his shots went in ALL NET....which was unheard of back then....also he invented the JAB STEP shot...he only would take ONE dribble, stop on a dime????....then launch it...then make it all net...i thank god that i watched him in my childhood and he retired when i was 13...😊

I would rank his shooting right up there with Bernard King

Wow. Great video. Walter had some serious skills and shooting ability. Like the song choice and editing. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been thinking about busting into the NBA TV video room, and taking all the late 70s, early 80s Suns game’s I can find. Milwaukee Bucks games from that era too. Nah won’t do it, I’ll get arrested!
