How does something immoral, when done privately, become moral when it is done collectively? Furthermore, does legality establish morality? Slavery was legal; apartheid is legal; Stalinist, Nazi, and Maoist purges were legal. Clearly, the fact of legality does not justify these crimes. Legality, alone, cannot be the talisman of moral people. Walter E. Williams

For example, why is illegal to sell yourself into slavery in exchange for free rent? I value your life more than my room, you value my room more than your freedom to freeze to death! Voluntary exchange!

@@sd-xx8ep Slavery, by definition, is involuntarily. Thus it is impossible, in the literal sense, to sell yourself into slavery.

And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.

This little video shows you that Rape is based on power and not on lust. Lust is the mindset and power is the action and destruction or chaos is the outcome. God bless!

Reminds me of an old joke I heard many years ago. What is the difference between kinky and seduction? Seduction is when you use a feather, kinky is when you use the whole chicken.

This is so wrong. Lots of transactions in the free market are not voluntary because people have no better choice. e.g. I hate Facebook and ins, but I have to use them because all people are there. I wish I have a better choice, and the government can certainly help.
@babblingbananas4 жыл бұрын
No. You are perfectly free not to use FB and Instagram without any threat of physical violence. You chose to use them because interacting with people is more important to you. You may not like the choices available to you but you're still making a voluntary choice
@Minato-xu3si4 жыл бұрын
@@babblingbananas Yes I'm not going to be physically hurt if I don't use FB or Whatsapp. But that doesn't mean I'm voluntarily using it. I believe talking to people online is a basic human right, and FB is sort of forcing me to use their product by the threat of taking away my basic right.
@TkerIsAPimp4 жыл бұрын
@@Minato-xu3si they are not forcing you to log on. I have not had a Facebook for years and talk with people using my phone, or websites where people gather. Although fb does capture most people and most groups, it is not the only place and certainly not even the best place for some.
@HeadhuntexGamer4 жыл бұрын
@@Minato-xu3si There isn't such a thing as Human Right to use the internet, the internet is a tool that was created by someone with an interest, the same goes to facebook it's merely a mechanism created by someone to connect people through the internet and the creator did it for profit, imagine if when letters were created people said it was a Human Right to send letters, which implies it would be for "free". It doesn't make sense! Saying it's a Human Right is basically saying "Since I have the right to use the internet someone else taxes will be taken just so I can use it!" Using products has nothing to do with Human Rights, Human Rights is about individuals being capable of LIFE, you won't die if you don't use the internet!
@babblingbananas4 жыл бұрын
@@Minato-xu3si Why is it a basic human right? Just because something is useful/enjoyable doesn't mean it is a human right. Also what's stopping anyone from creating alternates to FB? If FB's policies are awful, competition is the best way to overcome it. If people start choosing the alternate then FB will be forced to change their policies or they'll go out of business.
