From time to time Randy Crafton and I meet in the middle of nowhere to try and whittle this crazy music business down to our original inspiring aspects. With this attached video we launch a series of our itinerant documentations called “Reel Road Tracks”. In the early 90’s Randy had created Kaleidoscope Studio in a Manhattan basement, and eventually ascended it by all measure of gear, sound quality and clientele to its present continuing grandeur in Union City, New Jersey.
To make this video in 2021, I returned to the old AME church in Redwood, Mississippi which I had happened upon randomly 7 years prior with filmmaker Mahesh Pailoor. As you watch this video short, you can read the story that inspired it.
