Under the actual political circumstances the society is in, this episode makes us think more now than those days 33 years ago.

This was such a good episode...season 5 is right up there with the first 2 seasons.

The music is pretty poor, but I actually like one season having jeans, leather jacket and longer hair.

@@a.c.f.2423 Haha I love the season 5 music by Tim Truman. Very dreamy and transcending...I understand it's not for everyone though.

@@johndawhale3197 there's just something magical about the early 80s, especially, 1984. At least, for somebody of my generation. Season 2 is probably the peak.

@@a.c.f.2423 I really like Season 2 as well. The New York episode, Payback and Sons and Lovers being the most memorable episodes from that season for me. After watching it all back (after making my initial comment) I think season 3 is actually my favourite. They used ultra high quality cameras for that season and the storylines were serious and dark which I liked.

@@johndawhale3197 The NYC episode to start season 2 was a classic, great visuals and sounds, a tremendous encapsulation of 1985. I liked the aesthetics of season 3 as well, the new haircut was ok, the Testarossa was great, but some of the jackets, shirts and pants were less timeless than the 1984 and 1985 stuff. I think it's positive that they kept reinventing, even if it was for the "worse", it gave us different styles. The dark clothes and the ponytail looked terrible, though. Some of Rico's suits were a bit shinny as well.

I remember watching the pilot episode on Friday night, and Monday at school that's all we were talking about. Biggest thing to happen in the mid eighties 🦩🔥🔥🔥.

You can see it in Don Johnsons face, it's the 5th season. Himself as a person had really come to the end of his role. I'm happy he came back fresh with Nash Bridges afterwards.
@mojaave2 жыл бұрын
The 1st season of Nash Bridges was good. After that it wasn't must see TV. Don became fat and he basically became invincible as not a single bullet in a gun fight would ever touch him. Pretty horrific at the end.

I see a worn-out Cop. Just as Sonny would have been at that point. Johnson aced the part.

Kinda harkens back to Magnum Force especially given the fact they are confronted and given a choice. Magnum Force: "Either you're for us or against us." Miami Vice: "In or out."

This episode contains another example of a "fake" song composed by Tim Truman filling in as popular music in one or more scenes -- specifically, the Latin instrumental playing at the pool where Izzy tries to con the two old ladies. Such tracks would appear quite frequently throughout the final season, no doubt indicative of the show's shrinking music budget.
