Walter White - Virtuoso Brass Musician (Part 1/2)

Today I’m thrilled to bring you a real badass. Walter White (and no, not Bryan Cranston or Heisenberg) is a true master of his instruments. Whether he’s blowing on a standard-issue trumpet or trying to blast mutes out of the bell of his trombone, Walter is truly a brass virtuoso who can be found playing everything from Classical music to Jazz, and in recording sessions for The Cosby Show to Taxi.
In this first of two episodes, Walter sits down with me and discusses his beginnings through his early professional career. You know, we had so much to talk about that it wouldn’t all fit in this vlog. Stay tuned for part 2, “A Brass Masterclass” in which Walter shows us a number of his instruments as well as a few neat accessories and techniques.
