Yep, the original was done on Stratus and was played by none other than Leland Sklar. Go on his channel and check him playing it , massive attack pulled the bass line from that song from the early 70s.

Just seems to me that this song is perfect for making love? That tune, that rhythm and so much passion... so sensual... Two stranger paths meet each other in this cold and cruel world. What a magnificent live rendition of this song. The arrangement, the playing, the singing, everything. I saw them live in the Hague either 98 or 99 and they were awesome then as well. I think this mtv live performance was around the same time after the mezzanine album was released.

I got hooked to this song as it has a lot of "hooks" in rhythm and bassy sound. Catchy tune. GREAT vocals. Fell in love with it when I watched "The Insider" It went well with the revolving door that Pacino walks out of as Lowell Bergman and the slo motion scene.
