My personal favorite autumn look is a sweater dress or sweater + tweed mini skirt paired with over the knee boots & a blazer or jacket! I dress pretty modestly, so I only have a little skin on my leg showing. I feel just the right amount of sexy when I wear those outfits!

I bought a satin bias cut skirt just below knee in an antique gold color. The fabric is thick and drapey. I wear a aztec print Billabong fleece pullover on top and vintage Italian slingback low heel pumps. I love the pop of color and polish with casual.

In this video, you mention a "circle scarf" (AKA "infinity scarf") which is going out of fashion. If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest that instead of sending their infinity scarf to a landfill, followers of your channel might consider cutting their infinity scarves at the seam and hemming them for a whole new look. Creating a hem is super easy -- it's just a straight stitch -- and we all need to be cognizant of the necessity to renew/reuse/recycle our fashions whenever possible as the world's population skyrockets to 8 billion. To me "Dressing Your Age" doesn't only have negative connotations. I am 38, but I wear things now that I have loved since my teens, but I didn't have the money or the self-confidence to look eccentric among my peers. And in my 20s I grew into my style more and more, but had the feeling I had to be fashionable to feel confident. And now I wear whatever. Sometimes I want to fit in and wear jeans and T-Shirts, sometimes I want to express myself and wear the clothes I have made. I am sure as I grow older, I will wear clothes I feel too young for now, like Lagenlook.

If you have trouble finding a knit dress or set that isn't too revealing, try going up a size or two. Back in the 80s and 90s, I had some of both, and I always, always had to size up. Sometimes I sized up two sizes so I wouldn't look like I had to shoehorn myself into the outfit.

I, too, have a small head, and I did not even know this until I really started shopping for hats, because I love hats. I have tried them all and now have settled on the newsboy-cap style. I have berets, but don't wear them; I reach for the newsboy cap. I do have to try on ten to find the one that is smaller and fits me. I think this sort of hat will be popular forever, like the beret, because adds so much panache!

If you love ballet flats, I found a brand that’s super flattering and eco friendly. The brand is VIVAIA, if you have broader feet, try their Aria5 series. They are very comfortable and doesn’t lose it’s shape and machine washable. Btw, I’m not sponsored by them. I just loved their flats and bought them in many colors. The shoes goes well with casual looks and former looks as well.

I love sweater dresses, always have! They're comfy, even with control top tights, packable, versatile, elegant and yet edgy (if accessorized right.). Dress them up or down. I always belt them. Express makes nice inexpensive ones and I just ordered a brown midi from A&F. I bought a Ted Baker stunner, a couple from Desigual and WHBM, and I have a cashmere one from NAP. THATS how much I love them. I live in Canada so they're practical too. As for exposing skin, winter. I love to show ankle but I'd get frostbite.

I have my ballerina flats from years back and they will still work for now because there no change in the styling and shape of things and I had invested is plain sophisticated basic color or prints (was for having in my purse for in office days taking off heels and they were lighter than carrying sneakers around. Great video! Canadian here, and on the West Coast of BC, we actually have very warm weather most of the year, especially along the US border where I live, and we get very little snow. It's October and we are all still in flip flops and shorts! We do get rain though, but again, mostly closer to the Ocean. I feel like most American KZbinrs think we live in ice and snow all year all across Canada!!❤️🙂

I just watch a TT that encourages to unbutton the bottom two buttons on your cardigan. Take the bottom empty hole and place it over the third (from the bottom) buttoned button and then criss cross the bottom other side button in a tuck. (Oh geeze louise, this is difficult to describe, bet it is even harder to follow). What you end up with, if you followed it, is a more form complimenting silhouette and a light crop look from stale boxy cardigan.🤭

Anna you have the best tips out of ninety percent of the “style” channels out there. Seriously! After watching you wear and explain the value of a belt I went out and purchased three. They are a small gold stretchy belt, two belts that one can use both sides, one Is cream and black, the other brown and black. We have the same body type so I figured I’d try it. Well done. I had on a nice jacket with a loose dress. I thought it looked ok but when I caught my image later in the day I thought too baggy. The jacket was slim fitting but it was too warm to close it. A belt would have worked. Yep. Perfect idea. Also love the ideas for skinny jeans as well. I’m in love with all of the color. Your take on it is making my days happier. Dopamine dressing! I bought a pair of chunky Chelsea boots. I don’t know what to do with them. I usually go for a sleeker look. My feet are small so pointy toes are better for me to look balanced. Anyway. Love this video.

I struggle with the baggy denim pants. I have a large chest (G) and I find it very difficult to look balanced when my bottom and top both have volume. For that reason I prefer a skinny/ straight leg/fitted boot cut jean. In the loose fit baggy jeans I find I look like a cheese brick. But that’s just my opinion
