I have the PPQ M2 22..... EPIC .22 pistol... honestly it’s the best .22 Polymer 22 on the market by far!!!!

Just drop the round directly into the chamber... Great review, look forward to the shooting review next! The PPQ 22 has been on my buy list for a while now but it's always nice to see other reviews and more up to date ones. And yes, the slide is aluminum but it has steel inserts for the stress areas such as the slide lock tab to keep from ripping the aluminum apart over time.

FINALLY broke down and got a PPQ22 SD since my Obsidian 9 should be approved soon and it will work with it. Found a special, a Mil Discount and a gift card so I snagged it for a ridiculous price. All thanks to your videos turning me onto them in the first place. Thanks agin

By the way, you can remove the barrel if you take off the thread protector at the muzzle end. There is a metal shroud/tube that covers the actual barrel which can then be slipped off and the barrel then removed to the rear of the gun.

This was my pick for .22 but this has a threaded barrel also. I live in NY and can’t purchase a threaded barrel. Thought this perfect for my girls to begin and train on as it’s same dimension etc as my Q5.

I find it interesting that Walther changed to a captured recoil spring on the P22, yet uses an noncaptured spring on the PPQ 22.... Not that it matters. I just find it interesting. Thank you for the review!

Nice. I might have to get 1 and put a thread protector on it.

No kidding, every single time I'm in the market for something I hop on KZbin and check my feed to see what random firearm may show itself. Just so happens I NEED a 22lr auto and GB delivers yet again

You are lucky to get two mags, I noticed a few online dealers are shipping with only one mag. It will fit in the same holster that all PPQ's do including the pellet/bb gun and the airsoft guns.

The first time you set a round as in rack the slide, how heavy does it feel mine feels incredibly heavy with the first pullback, heavier than my PDP 9 mm

I would buy it except for one thing. It is not optics ready so I can put a red dot on it. I’m going to have to buy an FN 502 or Sig Sauer P322. Dang!
@GBGuns2 жыл бұрын
Yes, this model came out before red dots were cool again.

There are mounting plates you can get but you have to remove the rear sight. And of course they are $50.

you should do a drop test to see if the drop safties actually work

Hello! Your video is missing a very important part of the disassembly actions: the disassembly of the barrel that is performed with the wrench provided by Walther. This part of the disassembly is very important to properly clean the barrel. Thanks!
@GBGuns4 ай бұрын
Not if you're using a bore snake-type cleaner, and the threads would only get dirty if you're removing the nut or using a suppressor.

On the internals of the gun it looks a lot like the M&P 22. But I am watching this on a phone so I'm missing out on a lot of details.

I can't help but wonder if the slide is aluminum what keeps the slide stop from dinging the slide? Is the bolt face a steel insert? Great review, thx!
@theenderface73796 жыл бұрын
The slide has steel inserts bonded in place in all key stress areas to keep from destroying the aluminum.

Nice video. Do you by any chance know what that long pointy pin is for in the tool kit? The one that was supplied along with the extra front sight, the wrench etc. I had no trouble reassembling everything back without that piece, so I am not sure what it's for.

Bought a PPQ 22 M2 and some cheap 22 Ammo and this thing jams like crazy. Tore it down, cleaned and lubricated and it jammed several times in just 50 rounds. Not happy with my purchase..

Can I put a sound suppressor on this gun? The 4-inch barrel model, I am sure there is a threaded barrel option, but I don't know if this option is available with the 5-inch barrel. Thanks.
