It’s really good to see a pistol that shoots pellets and is blow back and has adjustable sights. That’s rare. Also if Umarex put this magazine system into all their pistols from now on it will be a huge improvement. Great review as always JC 👍

Hi JC, I like this model, its exterior design is very similar to that of the WALTHER PPQ real . Nice to see a rifled barrel and a pellet shooter, trigger having to do two functions really affects a bit. good tip, that of using a little silicone oil. I believe that with use it will get lighter. Excellent review and weekend. Cheers

Umarex do recommend light oiling of the belt. I did have a issue with my slide blowing off, but solved that by fitting an modified spring, and notified Umarex about the problem. Mine was an early pistol, so hopefully you won’t have any problems. Use quality pellets that fit the belt snuggly or they can fall rearwards, jamming and splitting the belt. Very accurate pistol and very enjoyable.

Love this gun, I’ve bin wanting it ever since I first seen it but I’ve seen some reviews that have mention the gritty trigger and the fact that the belt stretches or cracks leading to lots of jams. I ended up getting the sig 1911 emperor scorpion instead and absolutely love everything about it

Wow this has some nice velocity. I actually have this same gun in 43cal from the T4E platform and I love it. I shoots whatever different 43cal projectiles you got. I also managed to find 43cal pepperballs for it, so it can double as a pepperball gun. They sell a quick peircing magazine for it, which I'm waiting to get now. Once again, you've done a great job. Thanks again.

I finally caved and got one. I've never owned a straight-out BB gun or repeater and my main reason for getting it was that it shoots pellets as I have and inherent distrust of BBs and the ricochet possibilities, classic "You'll shoot your eye kid ". syndrome. The build is excellent, feels good in the hands and is great fun to shoot, suits my indoor 5-meter indoors range . It's as accurate as it needs to be for a plinker, I have a couple of very accurate single shot target style pistols so that niche is filled already and it's def more for the difference and enjoying something fresh that adds to my pistol shooting. Thanks for the detailed and informed review, it really helped a lot in making my decision..👍👍👍👍👍 02/23/24: Update and heads up. The belt in my mag broke today and bad news is, although Umarex has a PPQ M2 mag refurbish kit, it's only available in Europe and there are no repair kits or replacement belts available here in the US, upshot is, be prepared to have a backup mag or two on hand so your PPQ doesn't become just a fancy looking paper weight.

Hey JC. I just got hte PPQ M2 i've solved the Rough Trigger Problem and now it's Butter Smooth here's how to fix it but it's a somewhat messy process but it's well worth it 1. takeout the mag. 2. with the Pistol Upside down and Behind the Trigger add 8 to 10 drops of 3-n-1 or and light oil 3. with the gun still inverted and wraped in cloth move around side to side so the oil can get to all of the Moving Parts. 4.wipe off any excess oil and start dry firing it around 70/125 pulls you will have a smoother Trigger . i've also lost 2 lbs. of Trigger pull yours may vary.?? I hope this Helps.

For dry fire practice, remove the gear sprocket at the top of the mag/belt. Transforms the gun to a nice, smooth trigger. Mag has two #1 size Phillips screws top and bottom. I store the sprocket in my pellet case. When you want to shoot pellets just put the sprocket back in. It takes less than a minute.

Hello,JC! I love your show and you're by far the best reviewer. Concise, thorough, and fun. I purchased a Walther PPQ M2. One of the most important things to me is the slide locking open after the mag is empty. I have realized that most pellet pistols, using a belt or chain, don't do that. Big Bummer! Most review videos don't get into that aspect of the gun. Please, do me and everybody else a favor and add that to your list of review items. Keep up the great work! PC

The gun arrived. It was in plastic clam shell container. All the videos a saw showed an Impressive black box. I have shot about 600 rounds, and it’s out of commission with a seriously jammed pellet. Not too impressed, not very accurate, trigger feels really rough. It has improved over time, but not as good as I expected. It’s worth about $60.00

Just watched your review of the M 2 for the fifteenth time, finally noticed that you did recognize the fact it is delivered in a clam shell package and it doesn’t hold open upon the final shot. My bad! Unfortunately, my magazine is back In the manufactures’ hands with a broken pellet chain, after five days. Wish it could shoot when you hit the reset Wall when shooting in succession. You need to fully release trigger between shots. It is what it is. Thanks for the great videos, I really like the opening “memes” . Helps me remember if I watched that gun review before.

I like the look and feel of the gun however the trigger is extremely heavy and it doesn't always shoot. After 20 shots I believe I pulled the trigger 30 times and my finger pad is raw. I note that when loading the pallets into the belt the belt was fairly stiff the turn.

Hello there, I came across with your channel few days ago and I find it very informative. So based on your knowledge (without knowing if you ever had a chance to use it though) I'd like your opinion on whether the M2 is worth replacing my good old Anics Skif A-3000? Could we actually compare A3000 with PPQ M2? A3000 has 28 mag while M2 has 21. A3000 can use pellets or bbs (with some good loading attention) but I don't know if M2 can also use bbs... Sights are adjustable vertical and horizontal for A3000 but only horizontal for M2. I love the way Umarex combined both pellet and CO2 cartridge in one magazine and the loading system of "chain" mag seems to be almost identical with the pellet loading system of old A3000. However, the A3000 needs a tool to move the magazine to fully load it, the M2 just needs a thumb. The CO2 system of A3000 is inside the gun but in M2 is on the magazine. So what do you think is better? Does M2's need more attention on cleaning from dust? PPQ M2 after some use it's said the blowback slide release lever gets a bit loose and it may jam the gun if your thumb is too close to it. Is that true? And the recoil spring does it really fail? Did you ever come up with some issues? One final question. A3000 has a transparent, cassette like, magazine which has just a small window to move the black belt with the proper tool. But there is no information on its manual on how to make it move smoother or to lubricate it. So is it t OK to spray with silicon oil?

This is the same foundation as the New Glock. The trigger depends on the magazine. I have two mags for this. One has a tight belt and it provides a smooth lighter trigger. The other has a loser belt and has more of a binding feel. The trigger is much with that mag.

After watching the video, I purchased a WALTHER PPQ M2 Pellet Airsoft gun . Upon using it, I found that the trigger is heavy with a long travel distance, requiring a lot of force to activate the CO2. This results in shaky hands and inaccurate shooting. After shooting a few pellets, my finger feels too weak to continue pulling the trigger. I have tried using gun-specific lubricant on all parts, including the components in the magazine, but to no avail. This has completely taken away my enjoyment of shooting and I am disappointed that I spent CAD232 on it.

Finally got everybody else home (and probably at sleep already) - so I'd get to watch this review in own peace..😁 I just love the design n build of this one. Still do not own one - but definitely need to get one. The mag looks technically very well built. I'd probably though take the belt out and let it soak in a silicone oil bath over night trying to keep it all good n smooth. UX btw oughta sell a belt exchange kit also - or at least according to the umarex de. home website. The slide spring might get a bit soft on this over time I think - but I guess one can find a better replacement if needed. Love that this Walther also got the windage adjustment rear sight. The blowback oughta be good. Or at least by thinking of the short blowback design and the valve system this magazine got. In this video it at least seemed as if the camera would not at all have picked up the slide action at the velocity test. Looked like as if an nbb woulda been tested.. Nitpicking... 20rds? Not 21rd belt?🤔😁
