Nice review. I really like this gun. I have a regular P99 and the compact version which is one of my go to carry options. In single action it’s better than my PPQ. I recently picked up a final edition when I saw it going for $539.

Thank you gunslinger for the kind words and glad to have a fellow P99 lover on the channel. Thanks for commenting and safe shooting in 2025 my friend!

Good review. The trigger also has a short reset. I don't know if you are familiar with the Collateral drill, but the P99 is excellent for it. For me personally, the P99 is as if it is custom made for my hands; paddle magazine release, decocker, DA/SA, weight of the pistol. And the P99 is a safe, reliable firearm. I thumbs upped and I subscribed. I'm going to watch the other P99 videos I see you have. Have a nice day, gunslinger.

Thank you for the feedback my friend! Sorry about the poor video quality, on a tight buget lol. Take care and thanks for giving me another try! Happy Veterans day.

@@flutac Don't apologize. Quality of the video is excellent. I will be watching this video again soon. Happy Veterans Day to you. Today (10 November) is the USMC birthday. Enjoy your birthday, Jarheads! Try not to get too carried away celebrating a very good day...LOL!

I bought a handful of these before they stopped making the all Black Model… Beautifully crafted gun. You can feel the quality of this as soon as you put it in your hands. Its a PERFECTED Walther PPQ with A De-Cocker on the top of the slide. Walther…. Why are you discontinuing this Pistol? This is the gun that started it all for me. Ill buy another handful if you release the black model again……. 🙏🏼

I've gotta say first, i love my P99. For those that are worried that it doesn't feature a "Dingus" and are worried about an accidental discharge when dropped, you're wrong. It has a hidden one wthin the trigger molding. Test it by placing your pinky finger or a pen at the uppermost area of the trigger and guard. You'll not be able to fire a single round!! You're welcome😁

The P99 firing system was just too advanced for the public. It’s a striker that works effectively like HK’s LEM hammer system, but with the user selectable option of carrying it in the longer DA mode. I own one full size AS and two compacts. Also 2 USPs, a HK 45, and a P30. Only down for me is the paddle release is better on the HKs.

I don't know why the P99 was never more popular than what it was. It truly is one of the rare situations where you get the "best of both worlds." It has all the benefits of DA/SA pistols and the best attributes of a polymer striker fired pistol. This gun out of the box is better than my "Cajunized" CZ75 PCR. The only downside is you cannot cut it for a red dot. If they would have just made the decocker a push button where the striker indicator currently is.......
