Frantic Mode basically makes it so that the items you get are much powerful and also the distance doesn't matter. Usually in regular races such as in online mode or even single player, the items you get are depended on how far away you are from the dude either behind you or in front of you, depending whether you are in first or not. Also, the class and the difficulty change the speed of the cart. You dont see the sudden change in the stats, but you are able to notice it during the race, which is why you felt like it was going a bit slower then normal during Dry Dry Desert. (Correct me if I am wrong)

Frantic mode is when. Items are not pick by what place your in like for ex. Your in last place in normal mode u might get a bullet bill or a blue shell or the number 8 because it want to help u win but in frantic mode it totally random.like when dashie was in for place he got a red shell but in normal mode he would of got a coin or a banana.laser place higher % getting a better item.first place lower % of getting a good item.frantic mode doesn't matter😄 #dashiegames
