I love the comment in beginning - cruising and experiencing cultural awareness - personally makes me more grateful for my life and less fussy about things that go wrong - such as when I am miserable when we loose power in August Deep South after I have my pity party I thank God this will pass and say 3 Hail Marys for folks that this is their daily life. Thank you for that statement and cruisers that always complain get a life you are blessed. To have these problems . Stepping down from my soapbox Thank you.❤

Nancy, I’m so proud of you that you tried the white grubs. I remember when Kara and Nate went to Africa and I think it was at the lodge. They got her certificate for eating the white scrubs, not sure if it was the same insects. I also remember Andrew Zimmerman bizarre foods Was reluctant to try the white scrubs, but he ate it. So count yourself in the group of brave KZbinrs that have tried the white scrubs in Africa. Sorry I don’t know why Siri is saying scrubs instead of GRUBS. When the ship got rerouted because we couldn't go through the Red Sea due to terrorists Royal did not resell that leg they only allowed the people that were already booked to stay on. Also, many people got off to do other adventures like go to the pyramids. So we only had 700 to 800 people on the ship at that time
