The fact that stuff like this has survived all the trials and tribulations of the years passing, the distances they have travelled and the changes in political feelings is just amazing to me. People who own such rare and interesting things are really trusted custodians for future collectors. To be able to own, handle and appreciate these museum quality, valuable pieces of history is such a privilege

Another splendid presentation by Tom. It’s always fascinating to see the sheer diversity of items that were produced during that era. Slightly daunting for newer collectors to see the sheer volume of collectibles that are out there. “We’re gonna need a bigger house” 😜

was a forced labour camp established by the Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS) in Allach-Untermenzing, a suburb of Munich in southern Germany, in 1943. It provided slave labour for nearby factories of BMW, , , , and Organisation Todt with up to 17,000 prisoners in 1945. More than 1,800 of them came to death. It was the largest sub-camp of the Dachau concentration camp system. Another smaller subcamp Allach porcelain a.k.a. with about 40 prisoners produced porcelain artworks.

I love your videos, but as a German your pronouncing is terrible for me. You pronounce the manufacture like „Alleg“ but it is „AllaCH“ in German. It would be cool, if collectors would also learn more German, to get really into it.
