Close but not close enough. It’s neither Pilz nor Vienna. Actually it’s Franz Pils und Söhne, Steinbach an der Steyr.

My wife is wonderful. She says "I don't care about that stuff".... I've been collecting, buying, selling for about 40 years. I never miss one of your videos Heer Wittmann

Yeah, it's a problem. He won't stop, though, and ignores all the advice of his caged video editing troll to knock it off.

Spectacular pieces! Amazing that any original paper tags survived! Thank you, Mr. Wittmann, for hosting Mr. Richards. You have amassed a fine collection Mr. Richards, congratulations. Have a great day men.

Yes, another video in the "lecture" / journal series, can't wait to enjoy this later today. This series is one of my favourite video series anywhere in any format.

I agree. Typically a 45 minute video is a little much, but Tom sharing so much interesting history, I pour a neat glass for myself and enjoy all the little nuggets of information.

Hi Tom, I am kicking back with my morning coffee (still too early for a libation 😁) and enjoying the video on Tagged daggers. It takes me back as one of the first daggers I ever purchased from you; some 35 years ago now (!) was a "pigeon grip" SA. 👍😎
@Ethnarches3 жыл бұрын
I guessed that this would feature the collection of mr Richards just by the name of the video, I doubt there are many that have more of those tagged daggers out there, for sure no one with more tagged NSKKs... Thank you for lending them to mr. Wittmann mr Richards, I've seen you around the comments here so maybe you'll see this. :)

Never thought of it until today after watching your seminar, but it would make it interesting to have guests do a seminar with you on something they specialize in or focus on in collecting. Doing it fairly regular as part of the seminar series.

I had an NSKK dagger once. Times were hard, so I sold it to pay the rent. However, I will buy another some day. When I do, it will be from you, Mr. Wittmann. Thank you for your very informative and entertaining vids.

Its quite possible that many of the original owners of those daggers never got a chance to tale the tags off b/c they didn't make it back home. Sad to think but it is a reality of war.

Oh, what a colored guess wearing an almost genuine polo suit and a very nice smile and attitude.... that video was really instructive and really funny too.... but again, smoking cigar and holding drinks on top of a pool table and very valuable mint daggers is very.... well let's say not recommanded.....but anyway, that's his pool table....isn't it....!

I cringed when he put his drink on the pool table.
