I learned how to loom knit from Wambui’s videos and I keep coming back to her videos to re-learn something that I feel like I need a refresher on because she’s such a good teacher. I just want to add that currently, I am less than 1 minute into this video and I’m smiling from ear to ear-Wambui is just so dang sweet and her kind energy is infectious.

Hi Nancy! Every now and then, I see a 20 peg on Amazon. I ordered my from Cindwood Looms. They can also do custom looms - for instance, if you feel you want a 22 peg instead of 20. There looms are made of wood and are very nice: www.cindwoodlooms.com/

@WambuiMadeIt9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your interest! I'm glad you liked the look of the project. For this particular piece, I actually used a multi-colored yarn, which is why you see those beautiful transitions without any color changes needed from my side. However, I understand the appeal of learning color-change techniques, so I'll make sure to include a link to helpful color-change video below. Happy crafting! 😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIacpX-YeLpnn8U

I'm doing a double thickness neckwarmer. I've put the stitches from the bottom onto the pegs and just need to cast off. Will this way work? I hope so. I've ruined one doing it other ways. I did the same neckwarmer years ago and it's good but I can't remember the way I casted it all off.

Hi Suzanne! I am using a loom with 20 pegs. 20 peg looms are very hard to find. You can purchase a 20 peg wooden loom from www.cindwoodlooms.com or you can purchase the Kb Flexee Looms which will allow you to make a loom with any amount of pegs that you choose. Here is a review of the Flexee Looms: Crafting Time - Unboxing and Review Loom Knitting KB Flexee Loom - Wambui Made It kzbin.info/www/bejne/raS9Y3Wqa66cmaM Thank you for being on the channel. I can't find a 20 peg their 12 or 24. Any ideas
@WambuiMadeIt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kay! Others have expressed the frustration of trying to find a 20 peg loom. They used sold on Amazon - but not anymore. This is what I recommend. Purchase the ‘KB Flexee Loom’. This kit will allow you to custom make a loom any size you want at any time. Below is a link to an unboxing and review I did. Get the Chunky size. You will NOT be sorry. Just make sure it is KB brand. Also, CindWood Looms has 20 peg wooden looms which are very nice. Get 5/8 or 1/2 gauge. I hope this helps. 🌻🌻🧶🧶🌻 Crafting Time - Unboxing and Review Loom Knitting KB Flexee Loom - Wambui Made It kzbin.info/www/bejne/raS9Y3Wqa66cmaM

I hope you can help me with this one ? I have a 60 peg loom any idea for something , naybe a blanket;;
@WambuiMadeIt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy! My largest round loom has 66 pegs - 1/2 inches apart. I think it will probably make a newborn blanket --- or, if you make two panes and attaché the panel’s, it will make a child’s blanket --- and 3 long panels attached together could make an adult size blanket. I have used it to make various size scarfs and shawls. How far apart are the pegs?🧶🌻🧶
@nancyhuffman63624 жыл бұрын
Sorry I took so long tO answer ,the pegs are about a 1/2 inch apart... I got 7 different looms in the kit I got..
@WambuiMadeIt4 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is a great size for a shawl or to make sections for a blanket. Of course, you know to just loom knit as if you were making a flat scarf on a round loom. On my list of tutorials to is ‘how to join the sections together’. Enjoy your day, Nancy!!🌸🌸🧶
