I go back and forth between all these videos. Just in case I don't get something right! Thank you

I'm still new to Loom Knitting but I wanted you to know how much easier you have made several items that I've tried with your videos. However, this may be the best. I learned several things from one video and I know I will use your bind off on most items that I complete. I've seen other videos on bind off but yours was at an easy to follow pace and very informative. Thank you!

Could you use the second bind off method in this video with the u wrap to bind off a double knit/double rake stockinette stitch after you have moved the stitches from the back rake to the front and knitted them so you are left with 1 loop on each peg?

When you put your loops back on because it’s to tight to take off, what can you do??

Do you have a bind off for a single rib stitch - 1 u knit, 1 purl?
@pattybrush31854 жыл бұрын
I cannot go very far down the loom and can’t go any farther it’s to tight. If I put it back on then what do I do

What type of yarn do you use in your different videos? I'm new to looming and making my 1st throw size blanket for a friend. The yarns I've used for the baby blankets I've used just don't have the bright purple or aqua like she likes! Thanks for any help...I love your videos they've been a big help!!

My issue is binding off too tight. I’m learning to relax and not loom too tightly. My projects look so much better!
@GoodKnitKisses5 жыл бұрын
Kim Romero oh yes. When I first started I had that issue for a while and had to chant to myself “be loose, be loose...” lol

You and your videos have helped me so so very much thank you. I do have a question. I am making a hat. My first one. Can I stitch 2 rows of e-wrap then 2 rows of purl 2 rows of e= wrap 2 purl etc?????????? Would it look stupid you think? It wouldn't look different? I am so new to this so don't know what looks good or not yet.. Thank you for any feedback anybody has. I appreciate it so much.

I’m so glad to have helped! No that wouldn’t look stupid. It depends on the look you want. I suggest making test swatches with patterns like that to see how it works and what you like. You can take notes on a paper and keep with the swatch to note what loom and yarn you used. You can also write the type of cast on and stitches row by row. It’s a great way to grow your knowledge and learn how to create things! Many prefer to create from scratch and many prefer to always follow patterns. I love both. So have fun, make happy mistakes and learn. You’ll have a blast!

@@GoodKnitKisses Oh my thank you so very much for the tips. I will do that. I am thinking now it might look better if I did 4 rows of one then 4 rows of the other but we shall see. Its the only 2 stitches that I have really done a lot. I am still learning the others. I have a lot more videos to watch lol. Thank you again.

I'm right handed but I find purling counter clockwise REALLY difficult and awkward.
@GoodKnitKisses5 жыл бұрын
Renae Bettenhausen purling clockwise is best for purling when right handed. I agree. I happened to do it CCW here but you can purl Bind off in either direction.

So there’s no need to make a knot after we weave in the ends?
@GoodKnitKisses5 жыл бұрын
Kim Romero no. For hats I may loop through a knot but the rest of the tail is woven in.
