This is VERY accurate demo. I have a very clean jazz amp (150W solid state 1x10) that sounds just like that demo when you put Black 65 in front. Great pedal. Breaks just the right way - gives your tone a lot of MASS - I am using it with Gain almost all the way up with boost off or all the way down with boost on. Nice clean bluesy tone.

If it's in the bright mode, I'd like to think so. It's nailed the tube like saggy break up. You might wanna use an EQ on it for fine tuning, but it sounds good.

i have a blackface that i really don't like moving around, if i ran this into an ehx .22 and then into a speaker cab would it act as a reasonable replacement?

Sounds bit too spikey for a real blackface sound to me. My reference is a 1967 BF Bassman. I don't have a BF Deluxe reverb. Maybe they should A-B it to a real BF amp?
