What bothers me is that... if the realms are between universes, wouldn't there be infinite versions of each of us within those realms of afterlife? Eg: It makes no sense to me that Jane Foster from 616 is the only Jane Foster in Valhala if Valhala is shared with other universes

Based on Ms. Marvel's info dump, other dimensions overlap a standard universe. So each universe may or may not have its own set of dimensions that include their own Valhalla depending on how the universe is setup. I imagine when they unveil the space between universes it will probably be in Secret Wars

From what I can tell, the Phaeton myth deals with why certain habitats exist, and doesn't exactly address souls. The Satan angle lines up a lot more (as one commenter here said, deals with the devil).

Also according to the producers of love and thunder, Zeus was originally supposed to be Satan. Look at the details of Zeus, he's the most devious God in known history like him, Zeus is the head of Gods, Lucifer is Satan the head of fallen angels. Lucifer was called God of only the world by the Christian God himself. It would make sense for Satan to be in the MCU.

Zeus is only the head of the Greek gods in terms of gods he's actually far lower on the totem pole of Earth gods than one might think he and Odin are incredibly powerful but lower than the older gods like set and Gaea

Only T'challa's family were in the afterlife and only Asgardian warriors went to Valhalla and they had to die in battle. There must be rules for each afterlife. If could be that most souls just disappear or alternatively they could be reincarnated. It begs the question why none of the snapped remember an afterlife.
