I know this is how cats are typically portrayed and I’ve met some cats that sort of act like that, but mine never have. Both my first cat and now my 1 year old have been following me around the house, sleeping next to my head or under/over the blanket, they both stuck to me like a piece of tape and they both crawled all over me and sit or lie on me when I sit down to read or play games. Never had a “cold” cat lol We had a cat when I grew up as a child though, she was more reserved and didn’t really engage us too much, just likes to do her own thing.
