Wanda's powers give off a red color which implies reality energy in the MCU and Pietro got a blue color which implied space energy. I always wondered how they got their powers from the Mind Stone. Now it makes a lot more sense that they must have already had powers and just not realized it until they came into contact with an infinity stone.

Yeah, I don't think Wanda knew she had powers, because she thought the bomb was a dud. As for where Pietro got his speed powers, well maybe he was straight-up enhanced by the stone, but he survived it because he is Wanda's brother.

I saw someone suggest maybe she subconsciously helped give Quicksilver his powers. We saw her kind of instinctively mess with the Stark bomb before she even realized she had powers.

Wanda is one of those people who lives in denial. She knows and always knew she had powers, she just not comfortable with having them. I think she subconsciously knows how dangerous she could be. If she thought the bomb was a dud, why reach out to it like she did? Why did Pietro yell, "No wanda don't"? Because he knew she had powers and was afraid she might blow them up if tried to use them. But she used a Hex of Probability to disarm it, like Agatha witnessed and said. Wanda is just in denial. Come on ... we all know she is a mess. When the bomb starts beeping a countdown, she talks about how at the end of this episode of Dick Van Dyke we find out its was all a dream ... then uses her powers? Clearly she avoids her own truth, it is not real to her. Unfortunately for Wanda, she has been waiting for the show to end her whole life.

Being a mutants is hard to insert now, but being experimented by the high evolutionary can explain why Wanda and Pietro got their powers before the hydra experiment, high evolutionary also lived in Wundagore in earth and will appear in GOTG VOL 3

I just think the Mind Stone saw her true self. In the MCU they never really go into it to much. But certain Stones can be held be certain people. It's not always instant death. I think in that scene the Stone choose her. If she held that Stone it wouldn't kill her.

"Because Wanda likes sitcoms." Very funny. They did something similar in Captain Marvel. The pieces of her backstory we were getting didn't make sense until that one flashback when she blew up the engine core and then it made all the sense, all at once. I liked that. All our reactions to that moment were probably the same as our reactions to Wanda's parents opening a box full of sitcoms. There should be more backstories like that.

I think the Scarlet Witch is like the Phoneix force... its a separate entity that chose Wanda. That's why Agatha refers to it as a myth. It's like a sentient all-powerful force that resides inside Wanda... So when Agatha says Wanda's magic is on autopilot, i believe it's the Scarlet Witch acting on Wanda's behalf.

Wanda is the only 1 who wield chaos magic in marvel comics even wiccan her son still use incantation and spells unlike her, but they're in the same power level. unlike the phoenix force which has already have different hosts

@@weareparamore1597 but you have to remember Wanda didn't have access to "chaos magic" before the mind stone (at least they never showed that in Wandavision) she only had normal witch magic... its only after the mindstone interaction that she displays the red chaos magic, and that's not in line with the comics so I'm guessing they intend to take a slightly different route. The same way they have to take a different route to introduce mutants into the MCU. Either way, we won't have to wait long for the answers.

The vision created by Wanda is still a real physical being with powers, everything as wanda remembered him. So Hayward wants another vision for his weapons program. Wanda can literally create anything, She's hella dangerous.

if wanda has been subconsciously casting probability hexes all along, as agatha strongly implies, then that not only explains why the bomb that landed near them never blew up, but also why real-pietro wasn't killed by the hydra experiments that killed all the other schmucks. so far, i don't see any reason to think that there was anything special about pietro other than having wanda as a sister. in particular, everything we're learning here about wanda being the scarlet witch and having all this incredible power at her fingertips does _not_ draw from any of the comics where she's presented as a mutant. there is no sign as yet that marvel studios ever intends to make her a mutant.

Basically this White Vision we see is from the comics, his consciousness was uploaded to a super computer and then transferred back into his body. So he has all the memories of his life up until Thanos killed him, but now he's emotionless. In the comics, he knows that he was married to Wanda, and that they had children, but he can't act on it because he no longer has emotions. If Wanda has to come face to face with him, and have her heart crushed for the millionth time, I will fight Marvel Studios.

In Age Of Ultron, I believe Captain America referred to the twins as "Enhanced". At the time of making that movie the studios could not refer to Wanda or Pietro as "mutants" because The X-Men were owned by another studio. But now that Disney owns everything, they are slowly working Mutants into the MCU.

So I believe the X-men Quicksilver is indeed the correct Quicksilver because when he arrived, there was a breach in the hex and the alarms went off. However, I believe Agatha put him under mind control and used him as eyes and ears but when Wanda blasted him in the 90s episode, he was awoken from the mind control and is going to team up with Monica to figure out what’s going on and how to stop it.

I enjoyed your reaction and what if Wanda liked horror movies? I thought it was a very heavy in exposition on Wanda and Agatha back stories but I like how they made Scarlett Witch a witch's lore and adapted some of the Dark Phoenix storyline and telling it better than Fox studio tried in their X-men movies. I enjoyed this episode for its emotional weight of Wanda's past and how it connect so much with escapism into sitcom that she shared with her family and also seeing the beautiful connection she established with Vision who help her to ease some of the pain from the lost of her brother. I don't know if you guys caught the scene before Vision came into her bedroom she was still in Hydra's cell looking at the Brady Bunch where Cindy who is playing with her doll tell her brother to stop saying bad things about her doll but Bobby tell her that her doll doesn't have feelings she is made of sawdust and rags or something... This scene was intentionally put here to drive a comparison to Wanda first connection with Vision to give more layers to how Wanda's world has been formed by sitcoms maybe self-consciously. There are a couple of question we all know Wanda made everything but we also learn that Agatha manipulated things inside of the Hex bubble Wanda made so that mean that Agatha is behind the production of WandaVision in editing things and presenting out information but who is she providing this information for is it for Ralph who we never seen yet that might be Mephisto. My biggest question is why did director Hayward tell Wanda that she was able to bring her love one back to life when she had not done it yet that mean he could see into the future will this connect to Loki series in explaining why he was able to know her ability. Marvel made Scarlett Witch a witch's lore not just Wanda's superhero name which I'm thinking will they describe it as a separate entity that was in the soul stone that is now possess Wanda like how the Phoenix force possessed Jean Gray and they might have to do an exorcism in Dr. Strange movie. Food for thought, there will be a lot of request for the Foreigner's song Double Vision for the last episode theme song LOL

The Vision in the Hex IS real. (same with the kids BTW) She has the power of spontaneous creation, as Agatha said. She literally re-created Vision by sheer will, from her grief. It's the real Vision and she even put the power of the Mindstone in him with the yellow energy, so it's him. Wanda just subconsciously would not let him leave the Hex so he wouldn't learn the truth, the truth Wanda is herself in denial of. The Vision Haywood has is just a husk of what WAS Vision. He may be based on the white Vision from the comics; having some of Visions memory up to when he was killed by Thanos; but lacking the Mindstone he may not have emotions, therefore no feelings for Wanda. In the comics, when he was rebuilt as white Vision he didn't love her anymore, so they got divorced. I think in the MCU they are playing off the idea that the Scarlet Witch is a thing, a mythological magical being known to those who practice magic, real magic. A Nexus Being who exists in all universes at the same time and can draw power from all of them when summoned. Meaning Wanda potentially has infinite power, since there are an infinite number of universes in the Multi-verse. The Mindstone, being the universe's smarty-pants that it is, recognized our Wanda as the Nexus being and unlocked her native latent witch abilities. I don't think the MCU is making Wanda a mutant, she is not. She is a witch and a natural one born with the latent abilities for being one; she does not possess the X-Gene. She is a witch. Not every super-powered person has to be a mutant. The Hulk isn't, Dr-Strange isn't, and neither is Cap or Captain Marvel. Same goes for Spiderman. Wanda is just a natural witch, but also a Nexus being. Comparing Wanda to the Phoenix force is a gross understatement, and a complete misinterpretation of who the Scarlet Witch is and how powerful she can be. Wanda is not possessed by an entity ... she IS the entity ... across the entire multiverse. I have a feeling Agatha being drawn to the aura of all this magic going on in Westview (she mentions this), went in to see what was going on. And seeing that Wanda "created" all this stuff for real, that Agatha has some personal reason to learn the secrets of Wanda's magic. I think Agatha is suffering some kind of loss too, and wants to restore whomever it is she lost. Maybe her own son? Check out the ernest way Agatha talked about, "You wanted him back" before the Sword flashback. Agatha was empathizing with Wanda in ernest from her own sense of loss, I'll bet. So when checking out this huge magical event, she found out it was a witch. Then once she found out Wanda was "Cookoo for Coconuts" she finally decided to intervene directly and try and snap Wanda out of her fantasy mindset. But what Agatha actually found out is that Wanda is the mythical Scarlet Witch and now she is afraid of her. She's holding the kids at bay so that Wanda doesn't wish her out of existence or worse. I don't think Agatha is really a villain, she first was just a fangirl, and now is instead deeply afraid of how dangerous Wanda is or could become. I'll bet they become friends after all this is said and done. My only question is ... what's up with da bunny doc?! Is it just a "familiar" like witches normally have? Could be ... or it could be something (or someone) else.

I think it is Fox's Quicksilver. But she used a spell to control his actions and to spy on Wanda. I don't think Kevin Figie really wants to bring much over from Fox apart from Evan Peters and Ryan Reynolds - the rest he'd rather do from scratch within the MCU. However, I wouldn't put it past him to get a Hugh Jackman cameo in Multiverse of Madness.

Agatha is incapable of using light magic. All attempts twist to a dark version. Any light magic used against her turns into a siphon. Only the Wizardry of the Sorcerer supreme and Chaos Magic of the Scarlet Witch can rival or outclass her.

@@MACReact yes and no. Dark magic can do all of the same things that light magic can do. Heal someone? That's Conjuration. Bring someone back from the dead, regardless of the type of magic used is still a form of necromancy. That is the sub School involved. Even if it's like a god performing a miracle, that's what it is. Using a very specific example from very recently in the comics, Doctor Strange gave Wanda access to the information on how to use chaos Magic to resurrect someone from the dead. However, the only restriction is you can't resurrect someone who has already been resurrected and is still alive, or who has been reincarnated. Recently in the comics Professor X discovered that the combination of the powers of 5 specific bottom tier mutants with either him or Jean Grey wielding cerebro could force a reincarnation with accelerated growth and the memories intact. Wanda did not know this. Magneto use the system to resurrect the mutants from the islands of Genosha. Wanda used to spell immediately after. On krakoa, the mutants of Genosha were successfully Resurrected. On Genosha, their original bodies turned into zombies. Again, magic within the same sub school can be transferred across main schools. Wanda isn't just a witch though. She is a Nexus. On top of being the Scarlet Witch, a title that has been handed down through Wanda's bloodline generation after generation, her powers as a Nexus make her borderline on a god when she uses them. The downside is whenever she realizes her True full potential Beyond her powers as the Scarlet Witch, chthon tries to take over her body and her powers. Let's just hope he doesn't show up in Doctor Strange 2. What Agatha needed her for is really simple. She wanted to know why there were so many basic spells active and running on autopilot all at once marked as being cast by the same caster. Now she knows.

If you watched Agents of Shield, then you know the symbols and writing of the Darkhold changes to whatever is most understandable to the possessor. Like when the AI on AOS picked it up, all the writing turned to binary.

Some things happened in AOS that hasn't happened in the movies. The recent seasons are pointing to something which may mean something significant for AOS. But whether its worth seeing, I would say a couple of story arcs yes, but mostly it makes no difference to the MCU. Without giving too much away, a certain person took the Darkhold to someplace where normal people can't go. And this place where he took it, may have a connection to Agatha Harkness.
