Cuz according to them the stones are powerful cuz they can be used to control laws of physics or whatever and not really good source of power or energy by themselves . The MCU has such a talented cast but she's becoming my favourite now she's getting more screen time (She was already close anyway). No matter what happens in the future, RDJ will always be Iron Man and Elizabeth Olsen will always be Scarlet Witch to me.

This is honestly the most heartbreaking episode of a superhero tv show since the season 1 finale of The Flash. As a man who lost both his mom and then his home a month afterward I know exactly the pain she feels. An impossibly overwhelming feeling of loss, exhaustion, and isolation that feels like you’re heart has become a black hole, pulling in all of the light and hope inside of you until you feel endless nothingness. Wanda Maximoff has now become the most sympathetic character in the entire MCU for me.

This episode was insane af! The opening scene with Agatha in Salem Massachusetts in 1693 with her coven about to be burned for her witch crimes was crazy. Seeing Agatha use her magic to drain her mother and the coven's life force. Now we know where Agatha got the broach. Agatha making Wanda relive her worst moments in her life...she is a good villain. Agatha has been masquerading as Agnes to get Wanda to her full potential as the Scarlet Witch, Wanda is the only one in history to have chaos magic and Agatha wants to try to harness that power. S.W.O.R.D. creating White Vision from the comics to storm the hex is going to be CGI MCU heaven with him potentially fighting the sitcom Vision and Wanda. Wanda's pain and grief created the sitcom reality and she couldn't even remember...that's how powerful she is!

The show literally implied that only Agatha who is very interested with deep evil side of magic and has centuries of magic experience will be the only one who can track a different type of magic Wanda harnessed in Westview. Literally a Salem event is a great start to an episode to see how experienced Agatha is than any other.

I don’t think Agatha is a villain. She’s just been reacting to the situation. She strikes me as being really baffled by the situation more than anything else. It’s also interesting that the whole ‘evil’ vs ‘good’ magic theme has been brought up again (previously seen through Mordo in Dr Strange). Like the Ancient One, Agatha isn’t afraid to be pragmatic and use traditionally ‘evil’ dark magic whereas Mordo, Agatha’s coven and likely other magic-based characters outright attack or kill those who use ‘evil’ magic. Wanda’s character, using the ‘evil’ chaos magic, represents someone who didn’t get a choice in the matter. Agatha who doesn’t mind such ‘evil’ magics may be one of the few magic-based characters willing to teach Wanda witchcraft. The theme could be further explored through the 8 introduction of Clea, linked to the dark dimension, and Brother Vodoo, with the whole ‘vodoo’ part sounding ominous.

i like how in this you get the real story of when Wanda "stole" visions body. if you look back the security cameras never showed Wanda taking the body. it showed when she opened the doors to get to hayward, and when she broke the glass but they stopped right there. hayward's word was the only evidence saying that she stole the body, which only makes him more shady. 1. i feel like witches and sorcerers work different in the mcu. 2. captain marvel got her powers from the space stone

That's my theory rn as well; he isn't just a copy she created from her memories of him, I think their minds, their souls, are actually connected through the mind stone, if not Wanda's interaction with the Mind Stone being pivotal for Vision to emerge as a consciousness on the first place.

@@ravenwraith1017 It's been bothering me from episode 3 that Wanda's powers now altering reality, which should be the domain of the *Reality* Stone (granted, in _Thor 2_ the Ether doesn't do any realty manipulation, but I honestly think they hadn't decided it was an Infinity Stone when they wrote that movie). However, if Wanda has been a latent witch all along and the Mind Stone just amped all her abilities, then it could still make sense that she has non-mind-related powers.

We have already seen that her powers affect reality, she she has no connection with the reality stone. Wherever Wanda's powers come from, they don't seem to fall under the Infinity Stones classification; moreover, the concepts of Mind and Soul by themselves might be intertwined in the MCU as they are in other settings or even real life ideologies, and again, the classification of the Infinity Stones isn't meant to be a clear cut definition of cosmic power sources.

Hayward brought back the body, Wanda brought back his soul - which he proved he had even more with that beautiful speech on human emotion. I dread the conflict of the final episode. I think what makes Wanda so poignant a character is that she is the perfect example of innocence crushed by undeserved pain. Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany deserve much credit.

When I first watched this episode I had a theory that he vision will combine with white vision so his consciousness can exist outside of the hex in the physical body. Like Agatha said, Wanda is "magic on autopilot". Agatha took centuries of studying the nuances of magic, the exact hand gestures, feelings, and words needed to craft even the smallest illusionary spell. She devoted lifetimes to learning complicated rituals and even, seemingly, needed to absorb the power of a powerful coven to juice herself up. But Wanda just does it. No spell. No ritual. No nothing. She thinks it or feels it and it happens. Even as a child, she used probability magic (which, from the comics, was the basis of how her and Vision had kids) to lock the missle down. That may not have been a one and down spell. She may have had to actively been altering reality over the course of two days. Constantly increasing the likelihood of it not exploding which, over time, would have been more likely. And she did it all on instinct. Agatha is fucking pissed. Imagine spending three hundred years studying to mind control a bug when Wanda mind controlled a town on a whim.

Remember Infinity War, Shuri was supposed to separate the Mind stone from Vision then the 'best parts' (Jarvis+Ultron+Tony+Bruce) would remain as Bruce Banner said.
