@@TrickyD The Oxford dictionary has the definiion of "intense sorrow, especially caused by someone's death" which does not mention acceptance in any way, most others sources are ot mentioning acceptance as well. Everything in it applies to Wanda.

@@danilopapais1464 True, but the 5 stages of grief end in acceptance; accepting that you have lost a loved one. So Wanda is stuck in the 1st stage: denial. Because of her reality bending powers she can make her memory of Vision become alive. That is as long as he stays within Wanda's Hex. Unlike Monica, who has accepted the pain of having lost her mother, Wanda chooses to ignore it instead by bringing her memory of Vision alive. Which is the equivalent IRL of using drugs to retreat in your dreams of the past when your loved one was still alive.

It's just a brain explosion. Each episode gets better and better. Wanda + Agnes = another harmonious duet. You can feel Wanda's pain and sorrow with every cell of your body. Despite the short timing of the previous episodes, the story develops slowly, but at the same time it manages to reveal all the main details of the plot while keeping the intrigue for the viewer. Of all the series, I was waiting for WandaVision the most, and the project fully justifies itself.And, probably, the best series of the beginning of 2021. Marvel has shown and proved that it can not only collect full halls and collect cash registers, but also rivet millions of viewers at the screens in their homes, becoming still the most viewed.

It looks from what Agatha says in this episode like "Fietro" is just some random guy from the town who Agatha possessed to get information from Wanda. But I don't believe that. The previous episode showed Agatha possessing him while he was already standing at Wanda's door, not before, so I think Wanda called him. Also someone noticed in the episode where Pietro showed up that the alarms were going off in the SWORD HQ, meaning someone had entered the hex just before Pietro rang her doorbell. My guess: Wanda called the real Pietro back from the dead and when he entered the hex, he turned into 1980s Pietro (i.e. Peter from the X men movies), because at that time the hex was set in the 1980s. That's what happens to anything that enters the hex - it turns into a version fitting the time period. So he really is Pietro and she really did bring him back to life. I'll be disappointed if it's not true!

The person she saw when she looking into the mind stone looks like The Scarlet Witch costume - perhaps it was looking at herself from the future? A possible outcome? A different reality? I'm also not sure if the stone gave her more power or awakened power in Wanda - maybe it just chose her to be the Scarlet Witch? Watching the child version of Wanda watching TV with her family, knowing that the shell was coming, was damned hard to get through. But I think Vision's line was the most touching moment for me in the episode, "But what is grief, if not love persevering?"...wow, great line Haywood was manipulating Wanda in his office and trying to get her to revive Vision. My questions is, how did he know she could do that? I can't think of anything she'd done in the movies that implied she could resurrect Vision? Unless the knowledge that she could destroy him was extrapolated to being able to do the opposite? Also, why did he lie to the others, like Monica, about Wanda stealing Vision's body? He's up to something... When I watched it, I got a bit of dread that Haywood was working for or maybe is Mepthisto or Ultron? Not sure, I feel like I'm reaching a lot with it, but it feels like there's a hidden motivation for the White Vision beyond being a weapon I don't know how they're going to tie everything up in just 1 episode! White Vision vs. old Vision, Wanda seeing White Vision, Agatha's and Haywood's true intents, Monica's involvement, the missing FBI witness, Monica's new powers, the twins... so much!

Hey, Magy! Villain monologue time! Here's my take on Episode 8: Agatha is revealed to have been sentenced to burn at the stake in Salem, Massachusetts in 1693 but not by witch hunters. Her own coven led by her mother condemned her for practicing forbidden arts! She protests it occurred unbidden due to her innate power and pleads for guidance! Rebuffed, she effortlessly wrests power from them all when they attempt to immolate her leaving them withered husks! In the comics, Agatha is burned at the stake in modern times by her own coven established in Colorado called New Salem. The leaders of the coven called THE SALEM SEVEN did the deed. She resurrected despite their efforts. She is ancient and witnessed ATLANTIS sink! Did you notice the intangible crown that appeared over mom's head like Wanda's comic tiara when she poured on the energy? Pietro is revealed to be a fake but who he was isn't made clear. BEWARE SENOR SCRATCHY! Not many bunnies chow down on sparrows! Agatha wants to know how Wanda accomplished coordinating all the fine details of the Hex and takes Wanda on a trip down memory lane. SOKOVIA: Young Wanda and Pietro watch DVDs of old American sitcoms to learn English with their parents. "The Dick van Dyke Show" is her favorite! One family night, their apartment is leveled by a bomb and another one lies undetonated in front of the twins for two days while they're trapped in the rubble. Its blinking light was the toaster's blinking light from the commercial and the bomb is labeled 'Stark Industries'. Old news? Yes but Wanda is what kept the bomb from blowing! She already had latent magic ability! Is she a WITCH or is this her retcon into being a MUTANT? HYDRA: As a Hydra volunteer, she perceives the Mind Stone contained in the Chitauri scepter gem and survives contact with it either because of a PROBABILITY HEX or her MUTANT GENOME. She either extends the hex to Pietro or his own genome protects him. In a flash, she sees a silhouetted figure wearing a tiara that looks like her alter ego. A glimpse of her future? She rewrites the CCTV footage and the encounter is not recorded. AVENGERS HQ: Post-Ultron, we get a tender scene between Vision and Wanda about managing grief that tests Agatha's patience for schmaltz! Lol. Vision was key to helping her cope with Pietro's loss. SWORD: Post-"Endgame", Wanda attempts to retrieve Vision but she doesn't storm the facility and Hayward is accommodating and sensitive! He can't permit interment due to the priceless vibranium that can be recovered but he permits her access to the disassembled body. She is satisfied that he is inert and being treated in accordance with his will. This means Hayward doctored the footage to spin a narrative that focused on Wanda as a thief after her Westview activities became known to mask his off-the-books weaponization project called CATARACT. WESTVIEW: Wanda receives a deed to some property in Westview apparently sent to her by Vision. Did he really send it or was this SOMEONE ELSE'S BAIT? She sees Mrs. Hart, Herb, Phil and Dennis in town, examines the plot of land and generates both the Hex and an imaginary Vision in an outpouring of grief. Everything transmutes to a 1950s black-and-white aesthetic and her hijack of the town is complete! Agatha applauds from the empty studio audience that fronts the sitcom set and finally has her answers! Wanda races outside to the cries of the twins who are being energy-garroted by a floating Agatha who declares Wanda to be a type of sorceress called a SCARLET WITCH or one capable of PARTHENOGENESIS! As far as Agatha knew, such a being is supposed to be a MYTH capable of wielding CHAOS MAGIC! END-CREDIT SCENE: Hayward brings Project Cataract online using the residual energy the drone Wanda returned to SWORD was wreathed in. Vision's reassembled WHITE BODY is on display humming to life which proves that Hex Vision is an imaginary construct and that Hayward has violated the synthezoid's wishes. This is the version of Vision from West Coast Avengers' "Visionquest" storyline who is an emotionless automaton. QUESTIONS: Is Pietro NICHOLAS SCRATCH or a townie serving Agatha? Or is he Agatha's master perhaps MEPHISTO, NIGHTMARE or GRIM REAPER? Was Agatha a resident of Westview already or drawn to Wanda's power from elsewhere? Is Agatha trying to HARNESS Wanda's power or SUBDUE the threat she poses? Has DOTTIE been identified? Where is the beekeeper? Who is the missing witness? Will we ever see 'RALPH'? Will we ever see the AEROSPACE ENGINEER? Is the tome in Agatha's Sanctum the DARKHOLD? Is Wanda MAGIC or MUTANT? Can the TWINS survive beyond the Hex? I'm willing to bet DOCTOR STRANGE cameos in the finale. If you'd like to learn more about Vision and Scarlet Witch's complex comic history either before the series is finished or after it's over, I strongly encourage you to check out KZbinr James Hancock's primer on "Geekin' with James Hancock". Fun fact: this is the first time they call Wanda "the Scarlett Witch" on the MCU
@NJRinglord3 жыл бұрын
Wanda did not take Vision's body from SWORD as Hayward claimed. The Vision inside Westview is one she created from scratch as you saw in the episode. Biggest question I have is who left the deed in Wanda's car? It was not Hayward or Agatha as she did not know Wanda existed until she did her magic in Westview, the town Agatha lives in. Also in the comics Agatha was never a villain and certainly never had the kind of power they are giving her in this show. Maybe and I stress maybe Wanda used a probability hex on that bomb, but she was not going through puberty which is when mutants manifest their powers, at least in the comics it always has been. Although it has been established that Wanda is a mutant in the comics, she was born in Wundagore mountain in the High Evolutionary's facility, but was altered by the evil God Chthon and given chaos magic which combined with her mutant power allowed her to alter reality, but she seldom had actual control over what happened when she used her power. Maybe they are going to introduce that part of her backstory into the MCU with the advent of Mutants being introduced soon. Maybe her parents are only her adoptive parents in the MCU as well. There are so many ways they could be taking this is it getting more difficult to speculate with any accuracy and the fact that Marvel could not use mutants when they introduced Wanda and thus had to give her powers from another source and with the MCU being very family friendly having an ancient, evil God involved with her creation would not have gone over well so they used one of the Infinity stones. I believe they intentionally used the Mind stone, the sort of master control stone for the other 5 stones, to give her those powers or at least unlock them and enhance them. When she recreated Vision she also remade the Mind stone and since they never got to finish disconnecting him from the stone in Infinity War, I believe that is where Vision's mind went when the stone was removed from his head by Thanos and when she remade Vision's body and the Mind stone she brought him back. I am still unsure of why they made Agatha Harkness a true villain as in the comics she has always been a secondary character and a good guy. Also Agatha has ALWAYS been an old lady in the comics and never felt the need to be viewed as a younger woman. I still feel there is a third party behind everything especially with the property deed being left in Wanda's car and for the fact that they have been trying almost too hard to make Agatha the true villain yet she can't be the one who left the deed in Wanda's car because as I said she knew nothing of Wanda and her power until AFTER she came to Westview and started this whole thing.

14:35 this Vision is Just a creation, that's why in episode 6 Vision can't live Hex
@lokithecat72253 жыл бұрын
So original Vision has been scrapped for Parts to make "White Vision". Wanda's Vision is created through Magic (including the Infinity Stone), put them together and we get Vision 2.0 who will also have the magically rebuilt Infinity Stone.

White Vision is from the comics. This is Vision without emotion or a soul. It will be interesting to see how this finishes. Agatha may not be bad. She forced Wanda to realize her past and understand who she is. This is the Agatha from the comics not really evil but willing to push limits. It looks like everything in the Hex is not real so they will have to decide what will happen with the kids. In the end Wanda has to release the town.

I think that this white version of Vision isn't the Vision that we've seen before. I think that he's the pure weapon that Heywood wants I think Westview Vision and white Vision will have to merge into one being in order for MCU Vision to truly live again
@milozion15253 жыл бұрын
I think both "Visions", the husk and the soul, will join and create new Vision, or fully bringing him back to life. After a battle. I think Wanda will be redeemed and restored, in her full Scarlet Witch persona and costume. But they will have to deal with the fractured multiverse as a result of this epic magic battle. Speculation of course

At one point I thought MCU was about to introduce Mutants; when Agetha said "I know what you are." I was like FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! Wanda's REAL origin comes out. Theyre going to say that the mind stone just massively enganced what was already there, her mutsnt abilities. I mean Agatha did refer to "Probability Hex" which is how the comics describe her powers. However something tells me that the show is going in a mystical direction and not a biological/mutation one. Just my thoughts, well see soon enough though right??

in the post-credit scene the big question is did Haywood bring back the 'old' Vision? or did they bring back someone else?
@unou5883 жыл бұрын
The person she saw when she got her powers amplified by the stone, im assuming was her in whatever new Scarlet Witch costume she's going to get; based off of the headdress she has on. Also im VERY concerned that the Vision that Hayward just put back together might end up having a piece of Ultron in it somewhere, though if it doesn't the way they could bring back Vision in reality for good is by Wanda forcing the consciousness of the Vision that she made into the now remade physical body of his past self; because clearly he can't exist outside of her magic in his current state (or she just subconsciously wont let him so he can't be taken from her again).

in the comics wanda is a mutant who started out as a villain, then joined the x-men and then joined the avengers
@denisfl043 жыл бұрын
She’s not a mutant anymore, she got her probability manipulation from the experiments of the high evolutionary, then her chaos magic from a Elder God named Cthon, she learned classic Witchcraft too, and the type of sorcery Doctor Strange uses.

@@denisfl04 they are more likely going with the mutant version tho

@@denisfl04 they literally dropped hints this entire episode. Agatha hinted that Wanda stopped the bomb from blowing up. She called her a baby witch. And she also said that wanda touching the stone amplified what was already there. They hinted that she and Pietro had magic before the hydra experiments. That on top of Monica’s situation with coming into the hex and suddenly gaining powers. That would indicate that she may have had something before that wandas magic triggered as well. That certainly aligns with mutant x genes and how the function. tramautic experiences and high energy situations awakening dormant power.

Although Agatha was doing it for her own agenda, it was actually good that she got Wanda to face her grief. Dealing with grief hurts and yes it's unpleasant but it's the only way to move on from it x

Agatha is not "heartless" as you think of... Just therapy in a harsh way, makes wanda realizing her true self. To remind, Agatha is not the bad guy in the comic.. but its up to mcu to make her evil xD
