D2 is a great steel. I love that point. I need a Big blade where I hike & camp. 🇨🇦. Only having a little bushcraft blade will get you killed. I will Definitely check out that knife Company. Thanks.

Say Heah Skills, Yeah, I just got my set, The larger knife I'm using it alot as a OTO. Mine too is robust, but I had mine made out of a 3V Cryo Blade, I commisioned William Collins to make them, Infact I posted both of them on my Google Plus. I really like the Choil on yours, I always said the Condor Primitive would be great if only it had a Choil, Yeah, I really like your knife, Thanx You for sharing it, Dilly, Dilly.,,.p

Thanks for featuring this knife. Is your blade cerakoted? If not, how is the corrosion resistance and ease of care? I know you mentioned oiling the blade. Any corrosion issues? Is your blade a flat or hollow grind? Thanks!
@Skills2survive6 жыл бұрын
They use a gun kote coating on the blades. I haven't had any problems with it. I just keep a light coat of oil on it. It's a flat grind. Thanks for watching 👍👍 😁.

From a guy wearing "earbuds" it would be nice if these videos left out the heavy rock music or the occasional guns shots. Its shattering. Thanks

Are you still using this blade? If so, what do you think after 2 years of use?
@Skills2survive5 жыл бұрын
Yes. I use it all the time. Just about Everytime I go out, if I think I might need a larger blade for something. Still love it, it's definitely a beast and something that can be passed down..😁😁

Skills2Survive I guess the D2 hasn’t been “chippy” and hasn’t been bad to maintain?

looks awesome, but im really hesitant about D2. only knife that ever broke on me was made of D2. was a lot thinner than this knife.
@Skills2survive6 жыл бұрын
Alot of people are hesitant about D2. Alot has to do with the heat treat. I haven't had any problems with mine yet.
@blallo4624 жыл бұрын
D2 is not good if it isn't treat heat with criogenic treatment... Wander tactical does the criogenic treatment in all of their d2 blades! (i'm sorry for my bad English)

That is about as much knife you can have and still call it a knife. I say, if a knife doesn't give you a fighting chance against a bear, then it's not a survival tool.
