As someone who has been playing this thing on and off since you recommended it , Love how it feeds you options over time but it grows really unwieldy when your three-ish viable paths per character expands and you can, switch foods, sculptures for effects, focus your defenses and offenses as upgrades through blacksmithing and tailoring; as well as swapping skill sets . The glaring flaws have been fixed as we go and the dev is quite responsive towards bugs. Overall I think it is just lacking a story before a full release. Oh and they just added another character.

The Squall/Leon thing in KH was to try keep it a surprise for FF fans, as he gets pre-mentioned in a letter from Mickey. Leon was used from his surname being Leonhart.

any final fantasy is headache to wrap around lore wise, kingdom hearts is it's own tangled web.

The Seamstress is my favorite. Heavy dodge and trap build. That is one thing I like about this game more than any VampS-like. Each character is unique in their abilities and not just a graphics change with the same powers.

the "weaving system" upgrade followed by several "new skill unlocked" upgrades makes me think that there lies the reason you find that characters dont have that many skills to make different builds

I really enjoyed this game, but my god, the grind is real. And the limited amount of skills means most characters have 1 good build, maybe 2

More or less, yeah. I figured I needed to change things up a bit this year, and a PNGTuber avatar seemed like an easy & relatively minor change. Especially since I have so many different Wanderbot variations already drawn and mostly ready to use. Someday I'll toy around with a 3D model, but it'll stay 2D for now.

Oh ya the whole name issue with kingdom hearts. I think it was more than just him that had name issues but I think the reason for the issues was just translation error related.
