I’m very sure the S:P Little Knight in pack 1 was the most expensive, use TCGplayer market prices for most accurate pricing that Yugioh players use, I should know since I am one lol. I know you were using a different source so I’m not complaining just letting you know for the future because I would love to see this come back

Yeah, my thought process in seeing that pack was, "So is S:P worth more than $15 or $20?" The Grasses seemed more likely to pad the price. Also they aren't competitive at present but a pack with Linkage and Colossus at under 10 seems odd to me. Especially since Linkage is one of the "1/200 chance per pack" nostalgia pool and previously only had one printing. Well, I guess it's just the power of having multiple rarity printings since the QCR is expensive.

@@MitchFromFBS no it’s completely cool, I play Yugioh at multiple levels from locals to championship series, so I wanted to share my information, when looking up on TCGplayer, just look up the card name, and in the filters you can filter by the set name, then all you look at is the green “market price” value and that’s what we go by usually, but yeah I love seeing all the Yugioh content and can’t wait for more no matter what it has in store!

@@joshuagroom7068 To explain the joke: Thunder Dragon Colossus is one of a variety of monsters that can cheat itself out of the Extra Deck very easily without even needing to engage with the mechanic their card claims to be (they are all Fusions). In its case all you need to do is tribute 1 Thunder-type monster during the turn a Thunder-type monster activated an effect in the hand. Decks that use Colossus will only ever really summon it via this method, essentially meaning that based on how it actually is used in-practice it is functionally a Link-1 monster.

@ Seeing so may of the "shiny only" cards in master duel I can say, there are a few of those as you say, but they are VERY few, more often than not, it's the exact opposite, have you ever been able to tell what a Lord of the heavenly prison looked like before? Conversely, there are some that look very good even if shiny, like Madolche Tiaramisù, since she wasn't made like if you were looking at her through an opaque tin foil sheet...

This is a way better anniversary celebration than Magic had for their 30th, where they printed randomized booster packs containing PROXIES (not actually legal to play with anywhere) of reserved list cards (cards from the original sets that they promised never to reprint to preserve value to collectors that are ridiculously expensive) and sold these packs for $250 apiece, $1,000 for a box of 4 or 5 packs. Just for the chance of _maybe_ getting a Black Lotus or other reserve list card that you can’t actually play anywhere and has the same practical value they would have if you just printed them out from your printer. To celebrate 30 years of people playing their game, they printed fake cards that 99% of players couldn’t comfortably afford and charged hundreds of dollars for them. They’ve had a lot of oopsies over the past 5 years, but that’s by far the second worst offender.

I think the price issue comes from having the wrong set. Since these are all reprints, when you search for the rarity, it may be from the wrong pack. While its technically the same card, some packs are worth more and 1st eds are definitely worth more.

@ It's not hard. This set is a misnomer. A lot of these rarities are one offs for the anniversary, and will stop being made after. Or they're limited to a select product. Majority of sets only have Rare, Super, Ultra, Secret and Collectors Rare(which is a lame replacement for Ghost Rare, where the card would be grey-ish white, and had a 3D effect applied to the art).

Oh no, just watched the first pack, use tcgplayer if you're going to do something like this in the future. The super rare grass is like 10 cents. The (quarter century btw) Trap Hole was the most expensive card followed very closely (like actually just like 20 cents) by S:P Little Knight... so Kyle got that bit pretty spot on, but the pack value would be barely less than $10... the heck did it say grass was? That's wild.
