Wandering Ayr - A first visit to a fascinating Scottish town

We were on holiday in Scotland, just to the south of Ayr. Bits of the town seem down at heel. But the more you wander, the better it gets. Between the river, harbour, sea front, old town, historica buildings, inferstructure, and history there is so much to see and learn. It really is worth a visit.
