Thanks for sharing Dean! I'm too 55 y.o. and have gravitated towards BPing as a means of gaining improved mental health. I too have a Trek 1120 XT edition (upgraded) and in the process of planning to do about 1/3 of the GDMBR starting in late June - starting in Banf and ending in Rawlings Wy. Then I'll pick up with the rest of it and finish in 2026. That's my plan at least. Hope to connect with you some day on the rail. Take care. All the best in 2025 and good luck with everything.

Hello Brian. I have been riding bikes my whole life really. Working in bike shops I also new many clients who toured. I always had a interest in touring, in fact when I was 15 me and my best friend at the time had dreams about riding acoss Canada! But in the end what really sparked my interest was seeing videos on KZbin. Happy Holiday's!!
