Love how realistic this was, that you had no shame about packing things that might seem excessive to others but are important for you and that your wardrobe isn't full of techincal gear or typical tourist/backpacker clothes.

For the love of goodness... I watched your first video and saw all your jackets, I didn't even bat an eye. YOU DO YOU GIRL. It's your suitcase to carry around, if you don't mind the weight then bring more if you want. Don't mind the haters. They don't need to bring jackets in their suitcase if it means that much to them!! I'm glad you chose to bring what YOU want in YOUR suitcase. Enjoy, and safe travels!

Caroline, you look so cute in your outfit photos! I love how unapologetic you are about the things you love. And Jason, you seem like you were in a super good mood recording and you're super funny. I didn't know you could bring razers and nail clippers and stuff on a plane. You've said on your podcast sometimes you have to do different things at different airports but i assume liquids have to be pulled out and scanned?
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Hiya, Sofia! 🤗 Thanks so much for the kind words, glad everyone is enjoying the outfit photos. Decided to add those on a whim, and seems like a fun choice ❤️. Yeah, we always need to pull the liquid toiletries bag out at security in the airports. Honestly, our bags get pulled aside almost every time just due to the amount of stuff we have in them. I think my cord organizer looks like a block of lead to an x-ray machine 😂😂. It's really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things and we'd rather have the stuff we want with us and deal with a few airport security delays 🤷. Never had anything taken from our bags though!

Awwww, that's so kind of you! 🥰 We would love to share the supplements, but they were VERY specific to some results we found from doing blood work with a doctor in SoCal. We'd highly recommend trying to find a doctor in your area that does full blood labs, especially around your different levels and see if you need to supplement anything (like, Zinc was a big one for Caroline we found!)

I've been waiting for this video lol. Can you guys talk about how you get cash at the different countries in Europe? Do you really need cash or can you go by with credit cards? Thank you!
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Hehe, hope the video lived up to the waiting hype 😅. Good question about getting cash! Honestly, we typically just grab it from the ATM at the local airport we arrive into. Sure, we might pay a bit more in fees with our bank, but we kind of just see it as an expense in making our travels as simple as possible. Like, the $14 in fees in each country to use an ATM isn't fun to spend, but we'd rather not even think about currency exchanges, finding fee-free ATMs, etc. Plus, often times we're in countries that take Euros, so we only need to grab cash once every couple of countries. And, we DID sign up for a different bank (Charles Schwab) before leaving with the intention to use their no-ATM-fee international debit card but we had a snafu with a physical address and they blocked our account 😂😂😂. You could look into that bank, but you'll still have to pay some processing ATM fees from time to time.

Hey! Great update video! Love that you guys explain which items you didn't really need, but I think that always happens cause esp for a year, it's so hard to predict what you'll regret not bringing. Caroline, the tampons- have you ever considered a menstrual cup? I absolutely love mine and so glad to make the switch. They will save tons of space, save money since 1 can last 5-10 years (for $20-30 once, so worth it!), AND so good for the environment. If you're interested, I have this chart to help figure out a good fit. I started with a diva cup cause that's the only one you can buy in store where I am and I didn't like it. However was able to use that as a starting point against a guide I found to help me figure out which other one to order. That 2nd one was Ruby cup and it's been bliss! When it's in, you don't feel it. They usually come with a pouch, it will just squish into a small space. It takes a few tries to get used to inserting and removing, does mean you get quite intimate with your body. I mean I can go on and on. Hope you'll consider switching cause I cannot recommend enough how amazing menstrual cups are!

As a female I travel with about half of the amount of clothes I see here. I believe in capsule wardrobes and I can't imagine mixing all of these colors and patterns. I also tend to leave space because when you're in a new country you might decide that they know what clothes are best suited for that climate or lifestyle. Always good to pick up a few pieces to help one assimilate and be comfortable.
