Hey guys, Baku may have lot of connection with History which you can visibly feel and see in the Icheri Seher but in current times Baku is a hub of Modernity. Which you can see from the marvellous architecture in the city.
So in this video you will see;
Heydar Aliyev Centre, which is basically a museum and an exhibition centre. Here you can also see collection of Vintage cars. It takes at least 2 hours to see this.
Entry Fees: INR 750 For Only Hyder Aliyev Centre and with classic car musuem - INR 1250
Time: Weekdays - 11:00 AM to 5:45 PM, Weekends - 11:00 AM to 4:45 PM and Mondays Closed
Halil Ibrahim Restaurant - Wonderful Food, reasonable rates and the best Kababs we had during our Azerbaijan Trip.
Carpet Museum - You can skip it if you don't have much time.
Entry Fees - INR 1000
Time: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
One of the most beautiful Mosque in the world - Bibi Hyebat Mosque.
It's a very peaceful and lovely place.
Highland Park - It is the highest point in the Baku and from here you can see a 360 degree view of the entire city and it is also the best view point to see Flame Towers. You can come here via Funicular Ride, it's boarding stop is right opposite of Carpet Museum.
Fees For Funicular Ride - INR 50
(Make sure you carry jacket as it is very very windy up there)
Mini Venice - here they have artificially created canals where you can take Gondola Ride and after that take a walk in nearby Promenade area.

Nice video..Did you take Bolt/Uber for local travel in Baku? Or did you have a taxi booked for your entire tour? I have heard that local taxis in Baku are cheating tourists...asking for more money. Out of 9 days of trip we had hired full time car with guide for 5 days and for rest of the 4 days we used Bolt/Uber or simply preferred walking most of the times. We would suggest keeping cash as an payment option and not the card to avoid such issues.

Came from Baku trip, and yes we and met few more people who have been cheated by bolts cabs driver by asking more money from airport, since first time you land you won't be able to judge and thats where they cheat. And yes money that is cheated is not a small sum. 😊 be careful

It was Cash but due to language barrier driver pressurize and cheat you by giving any logic like 6 manat per kms and by end you get scammed before knowing you're scammed 🥲
