Conquering Big A$$ Hill At Mohican (Solar& Dinette Update)

In this episode of Wandering Wagners we took the new layout of our ‪@NeXusRV‬ Wraith Super C RV on the road to Mohican State Park in Loudonville, Ohio.
Last week we removed the dinette and placed a server in its place. We weren't sure how it would handle the road trip but it did wonderful! No issues whatsoever.

We have visited Mohican State Park many times in the past and it's one of our favorites!
Years ago I ran a 14 mile race here and we went up a part of the trail called "big ass hill". I've tried for years to get Mike to go up it without luck, until now!
He finally agreed and almost instantly regretted it! Haha he called it quits before the top of the hill but he gave it a good effort!
We went exploring with ‪@FollowingtheFitchs‬ the next day and we did the fire tower and hiked big Lyons and little Lyons falls trails and went to the dam. That was fun because we have never done those trails before!
But according to Mike I only burned 8 calories🤔😂
What a fun trip! We are ready for the next one!

Whether running in my younger days or hiking now as I’m older, uphill was always easier for me. I’m also taller so downhill I have to sort of chop my steps to keep from gravity taking over.😂 Love the video. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I found that good strong magnet latches were great for something like your server after 10 years of full time RV'ing. Out of sight, out of mind. You might need more than one for each double door.

We have added extra magnets to our other drawers and they work decently. Not perfect but better than factory! We may end up going that route but these work for now

The locks on the fence could be "Love Locks" put there by couples. Saw them all over Amsterdam NL when I was there. Great videos. You seem to visit so many of my favorite OSP's.

fun Trip!! I did Big Ass in a mountain race on a bike...Well I pushed the bike up 3/4 of it!

Oh man I don't see how you could ride up that one! In the foot race I did, I ran up it as far as I could go but I got caught in a traffic jam of people barely moving so I had to slow down. My strategy was to just power up it and recover at the top haha it was working until about half way up when there was too many people stopping

The locks are a stupid thing people do to show their love is locked forever. Most of the locks should have been removed a week or two later when they broke up. Nice park added it to my list. Hope you guys have a great Christmas, stay safe and healthy.

Haha we wondered if it was something like that, similar to that bridge in Paris. Seems weird to do it at a state park fire tower but that's just me😂 it's a great state park and one of our favorites for hiking in Ohio

My Seasonal site is just East of Loudonville at Camp Toodik. Next time you are there visit the Ugly Bunny Winery on 39/60. It is a great view from the Fire tower.

Whenever I go on a hike like that, I carry binoculars, when I can't take anymore and need a break, I stop and look through the binoculars like I'm looking for birds or somethings. Really just trying not to pass out and look like wimp

Mike seems to get winded on a number of times. How long has it been since he has seen a doctor? Some testing may be indicated. He could have respiratory or cardiac issues needing attention. I say this because I also had similar issues. Eventually I discovered that I needed quadruple bypass surgery due to blockages. I was only 48.
