Living in Carlisle you've been in my back yard for the last few videos. I'm glad it's opened you're eyes to how peaceful and stunning our overlooked coast can be, beyond the obviously stunning Lake District. Top man for doing the research and giving it a whirl. I was at Silloth to walk the dog in the sun last Tuesday, could have been the same day you were there? Evening after that I was up the top of Criffel. Lush area the Solway Firth, on both the English and Scottish sides, due to being unspoilt by modern industry in the last hundred years. That's very rare for a large estuary and firth but thankfully it all silts up with dangerous sand banks under the water so it's unsuitable for the large ships that heavy modern industry needs. Also Dr Beaching took the railway away too so while there's not a lot in the way of a local economy now that the Glaswegians can't get there by train for summer holidays anymore it is at least very peaceful and beautiful to visit as you found out. Love your vids man, you're living the dream. I need to try rolling how you roll before I'm too old to roll anywhere! 😂
