Greetings sir. I have been enjoying your videos this holiday season. 5:50 is a really cool shot with the heat lamps in the background.

In Europe we have already understood that we should not destroy districts. What do the people there think about this? The uniformity of new cities often seems soulless. At least these recordings will remain so that those who, like me, would never get there can also get to know this world. I really like these sightseeing walks!

Wang what happens to all of these poor people when their village is razed? Who reaps the benefits? If you can't reply with an unpopular opinion you may just say that you don't know. I've read that there is often resistance from the local people, but they are never successful with their opposition. Thank you for sharing your walk through this village. I found it to be very enlightening.

A new way for China hater to misinform people is using passive aggressive language. "oh sorry everything is going to be torn down, " and tell the uploader it's understandable not to tell the truth bc the evil CCP is going to get you. Wink wink😉. You're not subtle.

You don't live there. Why do you care? They don't know you. They are happy to move to new houses.
No only answer for your question, it's highly depend on local policy and personal opinion/situation. Some are very happy to leave their old house like the video ones and have a/some brand new apartment which locate at original area with extra reparation (And some cities have policy that give people Exchange certificate which allowed them to getting 1:1 free housing area from commercial developer). However some were not satisfied about chenge Freehold farmland to 70years propriety, or the new apartment are not locate in a good neighborhood/the reparation are not enough for living during construction/the building quality of new property are not good.etc

What are they planning to do? Redevelop the area? What about the current businesses? Don't they own their area the business is in? So, if they redevelop, will they be able to afford to return? I can see the residential area is decrepit and in desperate need of replacement. I really like your video's. They are educational and insightful 🙂

В новых домах, по всей вероятности, квартиры будут по площади больше, чем в старых. Люди должны будут доплачивать за лишние метры или нет?
