Posting your "bad" matches is way more constructive than the people in any hobby who only post their successes. It's so much more helpful because you say what you could have done different and it's often things that other amateurs like myself should be keeping in mind!

Hey Josh, it's the Alaska Dude again. I started up the TAP league up here and we have our first night this coming Monday. I will be promoting your channel to my players. A big thank you for all your work putting these videos together! Hope to see you at Nationals!

its nice to know even really good players have their off days...hard to keep going when your stroke is so off. Thanks for the video!

I appreciate the content. As an SL4 (getting better every day and just finished my 2nd session), I enjoy the way you commentate and explain your thought process regardless of win or loss.

Josh, thanks as always for the content. I feel your pain I am a 9 in ACS and have been having a good session up until this week, I lost every match could not get out of my own way. Between the scratches and the just plain bad position play it was horrible, went home and got back on the table to try to figure it out but just cant feel comfortable with my stroke. Need to figure it out. I have a qualifier this weekend in your favorite League. LOL!!
@Amateur_Pool4 ай бұрын
LOL... good luck in your qualifier! I hope you pull yourself out of that hole. I'm working on building a ladder to get out of mine!
@briandavis27834 ай бұрын
Thanks, Well I did end up winning the qualifier. I spent couple hours the day before doing nothing but potting half table straight in shots. center, follow and draw, Must of worked i shot a lot better over the weekend. Ran straight threw winner side.

It's always fortunate to have bad day when your opponent is having a bad day. At least things even out.

hi josh. enjoy your sense of humor and watching some matches even when lil' timmy doesn't get good shapes ya know? you already know... have a suggestion to get you off the struggle bus. your big issue in this match was not following through the cue. you were consistently stopping your stroke and pulling back. let that stroke out and give us some B&R. rooting for you!
@Amateur_Pool4 ай бұрын
Thanks, Dave! That is my biggest problem, when i'm not shooting well. I tend to pull back on my stroke! Great observation!

15-9-14-8. Around 34.20 an ideal stop shot pattern. Easy to see from over here

For sure.. some bad decisions were made in the making of this video, lol...

11:00 Duuude, how about playing safe with the 10 ball? Hit it lightly, get it off the rail while leaving the cue ball on the rail and leave him an off-bank that he has a very low percentage to make. You may even get lucky and block his 6 with your 10.

I do feel better about my game now! Thank you!! Then I started thinking about it. Your bad game is looking closer to my typical game. And my bad game, fugettaboutit! Well that was a fun 10 minutes. Thanks..... I think?!? 😂 PS: white on red looks good.

@27:58 Did you have any angle on the 10 to just follow forward with left to roll to shape on the 9?
@Amateur_Pool5 ай бұрын
I think the angle was opposite. Would have taken me to the right
