*I LOVE your concept that Protective Styling does not mean a vacation **_from_** your hair, but rather is akin to a vacation **_FOR_** for your hair. Brilliant. I appreciate the reminder; I will never forget this. Blessings❣*

This is exactly what I do as well! Lol! I became a blowdryed natural this year and I usually keep my blowout in twists. Whenever I do decide to wear my hair out, I literally just unravel my twists. I don't separate them, nor do I pick my hair out. I let humidity do its thing, which adds natural volume. It's more efficient this way because once I go back to twist my hair, it's already in it's respected parts. That way I never have to resection my hair! Its been such a game changer, and doing that has helped me retain length and reach mid-back length this past September! Im a blowdryed natural for life,lol! My goal is to be tail-bone length, so I'm extremely excited! Awesome video boo! 💜🤎💙✊🏾🙏🏾

You have beautiful hair! I tried that technique but differently I did cornrows instead. I loved it but the only thing is I kept it for too long and it was a nightmare to take down. I also didn't do it on a blow out and I washed my hair with it too and I don't think that was a good idea. So I stopped the technique after awhile.

@MoniMeka
@MoniMeka 2 жыл бұрын
@@purposegardens castor oil and olive oil are thick oils. Castor oil is insanely thick. You have to use a clarifying shampoo to get it off your hair. Don't use a moisturizing shampoo. Please use a clarifying one. I don't use moisturizing shampoos because I sometimes use grease. I need a clarifying one or just a regular shampoo like Panteen classic clean. If you use a lot of products or thick oils and butters, you need to clarify. Get that stuff off your hair before you apply more. If you don't, when you wet your hair, it will repeal the water. I know from experience! 😬 your hair should not take long to get wet. If it takes a long time to wet, it's build up.
@purposegardens

@@MoniMeka I have used Clarifying shampoo. Also, I have fine hair strands they wet very easily. I have to wash my scalp atleast once a week with Clarifying Shampoo. Im trying to determine whether or not oil is even necessary to "oil or grease" my scalp. But thank you.
