Analogous to academics... Solving a particular question, by yourself in the least amount of time possible, applying the concepts learnt during lectures, rather than to seek the solution immediately after reading the question and feeling a false sense of satisfaction that you thought the same way...

Coaches remember this instead of berating your team for losing!! go into teacher mode and as doctor G said don't get furious get curious!! Beef Wellington it's really the best way to improve
