If u want to become a professional singer then.... Tell your self "i can do it" Yes u can do it👍👍

If you love what you do, then it doesn't feel like hard work. Getting gigs can be very challenging, and you simply cannot stop trying. You can also be a better singer than others who are booked solid. Getting gigs may have very little to do with how good you are. It may boil down to justifying your existence.
@DrDanRobinson6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is hard...but for those of us who love performing, it's worth all the effort.

Can you make a video about how develope your mixed voice? My favorite singer is Sohyang and she can mix C#6 with resonance. Is it possible for a baritone to support C5?

Sure, can...already done! You can watch it here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaHcppJ5l7uFgsk

Singers currently out there do not hhave any certification,I want to ask how to contact record labels as starting alone is more difficult music marketing is aslo important
@sarthaksingh18963 жыл бұрын
Just google their names. Know the labels who work in your genre. But tbh labels these days want an already established artist. So it will be hard if you have no following.

Awesome video Dr. Dan! I have a question, hopefully it hasn’t been asked yet, but what do you think of Affirmations, and benefits they can have for singers?
@DrDanRobinson6 жыл бұрын
Jake, can you please define what you mean by 'Affirmations?'
@akatsuki35736 жыл бұрын
Dr Dan's Voice Essentials for example some people who want a general positive affirmation it’d go like “I am worthy of happiness” or for yourself and other viewers “my singing voice is amazing” “I can hit any note high or low” something like that
@akatsuki35736 жыл бұрын
They also have KZbin videos people use to better themselves, by including affirmations on a certain topic
@DrDanRobinson6 жыл бұрын
I think we all benefit from positive affirmation at times. As long as the encouragement is given with all honesty and authenticity, then yes, affirmation is a good thing.

It's always been my dream to become famous by either gamer, or singer because I love to sing, and a lot of my friends love my voice so I think I can try. But I'm also only 12 years old. I didn't watch the entire video yet, so I'll check it out.

Great video Dr Dan, thank-you. Points #3 and #4 you made struck a chord with me( pun intended). With focusing on one genre; how would that pan out in reality? For example I can get a good feel for classic rock music,as much as soft pop, even some country/ blues..but it's alot to do with the individual song . Is it advisable to spend the most time nailing the style of one genre and indeed play songs only of that genre in a gig set...not having to be a Jack or Jill of all trades, but would some variety help please crowds in some cases? Until you get a feel for the crowd I guess? Also #4... you mean life isn't just like a Disney movie??! Isn't that the truth! Thanks for continuing to advise and support us on the journey! Lin😊

Glad you enjoyed this one, Linda. Point #3 really applies to those singers are just starting to perform. Essentially...do one thing well instead of a number of things poorly.
