I think so too. They were playing together and it was fun to watch.

Fantastic job on the jig. I may have to consider using one tomorrow. I am fishing Lanier tomorrow and will start off with the Spro E pop. I will change my tactics if the top water isn’t producing. Thanks for the video!

Thanks! I always start with topwater, until I see that it isn't working well. I'd rather catch them on top than any other way, but there is something about a good jig bite too.

They were inhaling that Jig. Got some good Spots there Dana.

Thanks Don. I don't claim to know any more than the next guy, but if I were up there in those tourneys you are fishing, I would be throwing a jig.

@@FCPFishing I definitely need to throw a jig and craw more !

Enjoyed the video! Great job as always..... I've noticed something... I can't remember when or if I've seen you use a crankbait. I enjoy using them and just was wondering if you use them, and if so, when and in what conditions. Thanks!
@FCPFishing2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I use a crank occasionally, in fact I caught a couple today on a Rock Crawler. I have lots of videos using cranks, but I only use them when I have to. I have some arthritis in my hands and it hurts to throw a crank for very long.

Great “JIG” seminar Dana, you had some really good bass pretty much “SWALLOWING” that jigs, since I’ve been watching your vids, I have done “WELL” using the jig, I always have one tied on, enjoyed it Dana🎣

A jig is a must have lure, in my opinion. I'm glad you are having some success with it!

Hi Dana, Thanks for the Lanier knowledge and info that you share. Do you ever use livescope? Tight lines.
@FCPFishing2 ай бұрын
No I don't have live scope on my boat. I have two old Hummingbird fish finders that have tiny five inch screens and are over ten years old. I only use them sparingly. I doubt I'll ever get live scope.

That was a tournament day. All good fish. I guess you were right to stick with the jig on day 2 after such a good day b4.

The fish are definitely keying on craws right now. I'll fish the jig until they show me they want something else.

Hey man nice fish. I'm throwing that jig tomorrow on smith lake. I want to give a shout out to your chair best chair out there.

I am amazed at the water quality. Looks great. I was down by the dam this morning, and it was nice and clear, but in Flowery Branch it is brown and full of debris and logs. I figured the north would be bad too. Good lesson in water flow.
@FCPFishing2 ай бұрын
I'm kind of surprised too. I was in the Chestatee today and it wasn't bad at all.

Saw you out there several times on Saturday 9/28. Was going to swing over and say hi but I didn't want to bother you. Had some Swapro stuff I was going to throw your way. 😂 Tight lines!
@FCPFishing2 ай бұрын
It's never a bother, you should have said hello. Not sure why you would want to part with any Swampro stuff.

Which boat ramps do you usually launch at? I’d like to fish the northern end and not sure what the best places to launch are
@FCPFishing2 ай бұрын
I fish all over the north end. Laurel Park is good on the Gainesville side. Thompson Creek on the Dawsonville side. I'd start with those two.
