Its a good one, but add more weight to the head. This is how I'm fishing this one now and the action is much better

Awesome pattern. I do something very similar with some buggy yarn and polar chenille. I keep the tail under 4 inches and it absolutely SLAYS smallmouth in my local river.

glad you liked it, I fished these quite a bit this season. Worked best when the head was heavily weighed. Id suggest adding wire wraps as well with a tungsten eye
