You are wrong about the first omni combo deck. I made a omniscience combo deck on my channel and that omni combo deck in playing the same combo. The first invasion grabs Beseech the Mirror, that grabs a second invasion, then you grab a This Town Ain't Big Enough with the second invasion, then you can bounce and loop both invasions to find and cast any spell an infinite number of times. You only need the omniscience and one invasion to combo off. It's actually quite a compact and easy combo once you get the hang of it.

Thanks for clarifying - was thinking about the bargain but with omni out beseech just tutors and then you can free cast and go through the multi spell loop. Missed that. Some of the multi card loops with omni can be convoluted without seeing them in action.

The selesnya ramp looks really cool, would probably tweak it a little bit to make it a bit more stream lined. Since the meta is more or less hyper aggro you need more interaction on turn 2 or 3 that is not just the leyline. Thats my two cents atleast. :)

all valid points. Couple 1-2 mana removal spells over maybe Chimli or get rid of garruk uprising perhaps.

@@MTGJoe Sounds about right, I've played pawpatch formation in various control decks and have been impressed, maybe one, of that too. :) That card have a scary amount of utility 😅

Mid Range Mono BlacK looks good

One thing I don't understand about the shown decks, are the lists provided the ones with the highest win rates? Do they take into account the number of matches played? Thanks as always!
@MTGJoe2 күн бұрын
From the ladder stats we look at a filter on minimum 100 games for Standard Bo1. The decks meeting the 100 game cap minimum I then will look at the corresponding decks with the highest win rate amongst them per the tracker. When there are instances where there are similar decks, say Mono Red vs gruul mice I may pull like lists to compare and contrast amongst them. Some lists may not have hit the 100 game cap but are deck archetypes that can win games like the esper pixie list which can have a number of varied configurations. Finally the last set of decks are decks that individuals have recently made mythic with. Sometimes it these are takes on meta decks other times they are brews. If brews, the intent is to show while maybe the sample size is not the largest, ideas that people are trying out. At the beginning I go over metagame distribution which is volume of each deck being played. a deck can be played a lot but not have a high win rate and vice versa. People love mono black discard but it very frequently is sub 55% win rate and the demons version is always a higher winrate. hope this helps

Which deck do u suggest for a new standard player? I'm a limited player xD
@MTGJoe22 сағат бұрын
Generally I would ask what playstyle or colors you like. If you can share some info or your playstyle preference I can give some options

@@MTGJoe I've played a few games with dimir bounce but it's not very easy to play. I prefer midrange strategies but I also like aggro, fast and intuitive. Oh I also tried monoblack but I don't enjoy it as a deck, not very interactive imho
@MTGJoe18 сағат бұрын
@federicoferrazza764 midrange typically performs better in Bo3 than bo1 due to sideboard access. That said traditional midrange is suffering a bit due to the efficiency of bounce decks that kind of tempo it out. The red aggro decks are the best in terms of aggressive strategy and many of the cards get used in a similar more suped up version in Explorer

Have you got a sense of which is the most 'budget' in terms of wildcards?
@MTGJoe22 сағат бұрын
So I would avoid a deck like rabbits that uses wildcards for only 1 deck. The cheapest deck would be the mono red fling decks but they are less consistent than mono red. Some of the bounce decks use a lot of commons and uncommons but do have a rare land investment.

I hate how badly mono-red has warped the format. Standard now goes something like this: If your deck does not have any early-game removal, you will just lose. *Any turn-2 Mouse just wrecks you.* If your deck does not have any graveyard hate, you must run creature exile. *Raise the Past and Omni combo just wrecks you.* Sweepers suck. You will lose to hasted creatures and man lands, which red has too much of these days *Screaming Nemesis*

Mostly only in BO1. BO1 rewards aggro and red is the best at it
@MTGJoe22 сағат бұрын
Part of all this is the nature of Bo1 which tends to be a reward of linear decks.
@ConsoleCleric21 сағат бұрын
@ Yeah, red has rather terrible sideboard options. Standard is best in Bo3.
