I love that black dress at the end! And thank you for being 5'9" I am too! I love the empire waisted dress with jeans look, I think I own the wrong jeans though, I wore bell bottoms and I felt like I fell off a truck driving in the 60's. Nobody said anything, but I knew...It had bell sleeves and very floaty look. You have thought out your outfits very nicely and now we can go find pieces to distract and elongate. Thanks for the tips!

I love the last dress you showed. Excellent video. I have a permanent "bloat" - post menopause belly. Sigh. I find that empire waist dresses and tops work great. I have a marvelous Indian cotton maxi dress that I wear in the summer and always get compliments on. It is fitted through the bodice with short sleeves (hides those upper arms) and lots of flowy fabric from just under the bust on down. It's perfect.

I personnally dont like high waisted pants when im bloated. I put the elastic or the belt on my hips instead. That way, my hips bones take the pressure of the elastic which is much more comfortable and that relieves the stomach . Plus when i put a belt on my tummy, my big stomach is much more visible when i watch myself on the side, which is not pretty.

I think it's a good look that works on anyone but many shorter women tell me they can't do it. I feel like if the dress is cut for petites it can work for them too.
