@cryonictaco99482 жыл бұрын
@@Greeblen I'm sure you may know this, but the misconception that quokka have no natural predators comes from a place called Bald Island, which some call "quokka island". A population of 600-1000 quokka live there and in that specific location there are no predators. This became pretty widespread and turned into the "quokka have no predators" you see here.

@proberts342 жыл бұрын
Until 4 minutes ago, I had never heard of a quokka. Thanks for posting. 🙂 An now, thanks to AnimalFactGuide, I learned: Quokkas are herbivores who primarily feed at night, meaning they are mainly nocturnal. They eat the leaves, stems, and bark of many plants in addition to grass. If necessary, they can survive for long periods of time without food or water by living off the fat stored in their tails. Groups of quokkas live in territories, which are defended by dominant males. They often live in tall grass near water sources. Quokkas can also climb trees! The island of Rottnest near Perth, Australia is the primary home of the quokka, a type of marsupial. Aside from Rottnest Island, small groups of quokkas also inhabit the mainland in Western Australia, as well as Bald Island, a small island to the southwest.

I've always noticed that and wondered why.
@BlueSpiritFire12 жыл бұрын
@@odinalastor4175 If you mean about the animation tpthing, I think it's because still backgrounds used to be made in a different method/medium, not on an animation cell. Like they're not going to animate every leaf moving in a forest, so someone painted the background and anything that moved was drawn on animation cells. At least, that's what I remember. There was a great clip I saw ages ago of an anime or cartoon where the characters were running in a chase scene and one of them noticed the floor was different and explained how they knew they should avoid walking there because that floor was sure to give way. Then the 'background' piece of ground they were standing on crumbled away under them xD It was pretty good, I wish I could find it again.
