I love this tip! - You're already lost, so doing something "crazy" is not a big deal - The opponent will see an exposed king and begin salivating, searching for ways to attack it - While attacking, opponent may forget to defend his own pieces or king - The king itself is an effective offensive piece, able to restrict several squares from the enemy king with opposition

Today I, a 300s elo player, faced against a 500s elo player, literally lost all my pieces except my Pawn and my King which were left to go up against their 2 Bishops, their knight, and their Rook, I employed this tactical strategy for the first, and I somehow managed to get the enemy to blunder a stalemate despite having the overwhelming advantage. I don’t recommend taking the king run advice too seriously. The first piece of advice he gives to keep pieces on the board and make the position messy is 100% correct though and has won me countless games. I’ve gone from 1200 to 2000 in about a year and I know from experience that just running the king rarely results in good things and usually will get you mated very quickly to any decent player. Even in the video, there were so many mates missed and the player got lucky to run through that minefield and have their opponent blunder mate.

I can confirm that running the king up the board works. I was once up a rook and my opponent ran their king which made me blunder my rook so I asked for a draw and my opponent accepted. Edit: It was also the endgame so after the blunder I made there was just rooks and pawns

Levy BTW that 3.12M subs is looking good. Running the King, an excellent technique for swindling. It's almost like it says "Yikes, the castle is breached, I'm gonna make a break for it. Exile is better than death." All the books say to activate the King, (in the endgame) and one famous GM said the King is an attacking piece, but this is taking it to the next level. I almost now have to think of King as a Queen, just with a short range. Thanks man.

In blitz games hiding your king amongst all of your pieces left is very nice. Beginners and Intermediates do not know how to break through and attack you, so they will just end up making random moves (run out of time), only thing you need to be aware of is promotion.

This such a good advice, first match after this video my opponent was up 7 points in material he had rook bishop and queen on the board and i only had a queen. I ran my king and he was only focusing on my king which led him to hang his bishop then his rook and he even hanged his queen at 1 minutes left lmao

I am stuck at 1,200 rating before but when I watch your opening guide tutorial, I did reached 1,750 rating (Personal best) and I am currently at 1,730, tbh. my main problem on chess is the openings cuz I noticed I am somewhat good at spotting basic tactics and I am also not that bad at making a plan so yeah with your help I did improve, I can say you're, the GOAT YT. chess teacher, I am not even kidding.

I played a game yesterday where i was in a pretty bad spot. Pretty much everything was pinned down. I ran the king out and managed to snag three pawns up like a beast. The odd moves the opponent was making told me they had never seen this before and didn't know what the hell to do. My king made it to the other side of the board. I lost. But it was still a pretty sweet move lol.
